What an amazing experience to visit this natural cave!
This cave is self-guided by using the headphone which has many languages to choose from. You can spend time as much as you want in the cave. The stairs are a bit narrow and can trip you over easily. Must walk carefully!

Amazing to see such a beautiful natural cave. We were told it was formed due to rivers eroding the limestone away over 100s thousands of years.
They mentioned over 10,000 bones and fossils have been recovered in its time and you can still see some in the stone walls.
Amazing place!

An amazing experience, self guided tour with headphones to log into each recorded information section.
An easy walk through the cave and 160 steps to the exit, I would happily go back again.
Not a great deal of parking available
$24 each adult
I suggest that you book in advance or you will be waiting for headphones to be returned
Probably not suitable for wheelchairs,

Fantastic place to visit, highly recommend.
It's a self tour and very easy walking
Can easily do on open footwear if that's what you have.
Lovely and cool once in the cave system on a warm summer day.

Stopped here while visiting from Canada in February 2024... The cave is a sight to behold, the self-guided walking tour was informative and easy to follow, and added to the beauty and wonder of exploring the cave. This was well worth the visit.

Easy to navigate..lighted up for most parts. Not too many stairs except for the last 160 steps. Take the longer walking trail through the forest. Very good narrations from the audio. Self guided.

The location was very interesting and historical. You'll get to learn more about the rock formations and the deep history of fossils and extinct animals in western Australia.

An Accessible Cave Experience. Mammoth Cave offers an easy walk with visually appealing formations. The audio guide enhances the visit, just make sure to follow the instructions. The pathway is straightforward, but remember not to touch anything inside except for the handrails. Parking can fill up quickly. Toilets are available, as is a gift shop at the visitor center. The natural walk post-visit is also worth exploring, with both short and long options that loop back to the start.

Gigantic and impressive cave, very well maintained path and easy to walk with some steps. Self guided audio tour provided with your entrance ticket ($24 for adult and $12 for kids) very interesting and informative. After the cave tour, you can also do an outdoor nature walk.

Lovely self guided tour, try to get there during off peak times as it's mostly single lane walkways down in the cave.
Don't forget to worship at the mudschlong for the gift of rock hard tumescence.

The staff in the reception were a joy to talk with and very informative about the area. The cave itself is definitely worth seeing as it is different to the others in the area and is self guided.
The place has lots of parking and toilets.

Great self-guilded cave walk. Headsets are given to listen to on your walk. Ticket $24 for an adult. Large cave with lots of fossils found. The chambers are very impressive and massive! Lots of stairs at the end, so wear comfortable shoes and remember a jacket.

Really cool cave with a great self-guided audio tour followed by a serene short bushwalk.

Massive underground limestone cave full of limestone formations and fossils of ancient megafauna. This is the only publicly open cave that you explore at your own phase, which really means a lot when you are comparing to other guided tours such as lake cave. They provide headphones so you can listen to the recordings while you explore the place. Highly recommend place for cave explorers 🥰

Spectacular!
A must-see on the to-do list when visiting Margaret River.
I think the price is reasonable and goes back into the community and conservation.
Be guided by commentary which will give you all the info you need, this of course is optional.
A little gift shop as you enter/exit should you want any souvenirs.
I will let the pictures do the talking!

The largest cave about 80 metres long and 60 metres deep, this cave shows the evolution of time from fossils to stalagmites. Interesting discovery
