Totally an awesome experience exploring this cave which is self guided with helmets & torch supplied. Be aware this cave exploration includes many stairs, rock climbing, rope handling & crawling through quite tight spaces but if you’re up to this it is so worth the experience. Listen to the very knowledgeable ranger and decide whether it’s for you & if so you’ll have an extremely special visit.

Visiting Giants Cave was the best experience on my trip to Western Australia. You can explore cave on your own and it includes climbing, crawling, sliding and plenty of stairs and narrow ladders. Two big chambers and tight passages. The only light is the flash light as there is no artificial light fixtures like in other caves which make it even more interesting. I was lucky to get there and enter cave solely on my own, with out any one beside me. It was scary, exciting and extraordinary experience. Other caves are nice but this one will give you thrills and chills and challenge your fitness. Helmets mandatory as I hit may head about 10 times. If you ever been to guided cave and you know what's going on go there to explore caves on your own. It took me 1 hour to go through cave. Once you exit cave the way back lead through beautiful bushes which appears even greener after spending hour in darkness. So happy with my experience.

Come and start the adventure in the cave!!!!!That was such an amazing experience that I've ever had. Thanks Sarah for taking us there. We were the first group at that day but came out so late lol The staff is friendly!

The entry is $19 per person with a helmet and headlight (return after finish the walk)
So worthy!!!!!! For a special experience and the maintenance of the cave.

Took my two sons, aged 10 and 13 here for some adventure. We all loved it! The friendly staff supply you with helmets and flashlights - then you're on your own! It takes roughly one hour to get from start to finish. You can't get lost, there is a marked path. But you will be climbing ladders and going through tight gaps - it was a thrill! Moderate fitness level required. A great family experience.

Deepest cave in the region with huge chambers, this is a super fun self guided tour, and feels more authentic without the light displays. Great value for money and cheaper than the other caves in the area. Well worth the visit.

Great activity during a weeks holiday by the beach. You get to go in all by yourself and the feeling of switching off the torch while inside and experience the absolute absence of light is unique. Definitely recommended. It requires some climbing, like somebody wrote here earlier, don’t bring your fat father or don’t go if you’re claustrophobic.

A cave experience for the more adventurous explorers. You are given hard hats and a light and enter without a tour guide. Tight squeezes and long climbs on ladders are involved so ensure you a comfortable in small spaces and have a relatively solid fitness level. While it’s not as scenic as Lake Cave or Jewel Cave the Giants is a lot of fun. Not open all year round.

Super experience! Each of us issued with a miner's helmet with a light by the friendly guides who briefed us then set us loose on the appointed trail to follow. Loved it. Experienced total darkness and silence at the dry bed of the stream. Lots of climbing up and down a variety of stairs, ladders, rope. Have to get down on all fours and through some narrow sections as well. Totally safe though, would be okay for anyone with a regular normal level of fitness. It's still quite natural, no artificial lighting like some of the other caves around, get to see some nice formations. Will go again and definitely introduce this gem to any of our future visitors.

We had a lot of fun exploring this cave and its chambers on our own with our hard hats and torches. So it is self guided, you go at your own pace. We were completely alone, able to turn off our lights and experience the dark and the silence. We were amazed looking at the formations, stalactites, stalagmites...
Note there are quiet a few vertical ladders and narrow spaces you have to squeeze through!

i was in the cave all by myself which made the whole experience unique and unforgettable. No lighting in the cave, you only have an LED helmet and a torchlight. All you can hear is your heartbeats and your breathings. I was scared in the beginning but after a while i got used to it. if u are brave enough go in the early morning when no one else is in the cave. Lots of climb and crawl, dont carry bag or wear a jacket, you will sweat a lot and it feels so good to be out and on the ground again:)

Great experience for the whole family
We did it all on our own terms
No one to bother us
Just us
They supplied cool helmets with lights on them and set us loose
We had our own private cave
Awesome

I'm no caves expert, but I've been to a few all around Europe and this was by far the most fun and unique experience. You get handed a hard hat and a torche and, other than that, you're completely on your own! We went in the afternoon and were lucky to be the only ones in- so we had the entire cave to our own. It has loads of massive chambers as well as very narrow spots where we needed to squeeze through. It's a pretty cool experience being 70m underground going squeezing through a tight section completely on your own. The stalactites and stalagmites are pretty amazing too. It took us just over one hour to get through and properly enjoy it, but it could be done in 15min. $18 per adult.

It's more of an adventure cave, and it's definitely worth a visit!

This was an absolutely thrilling experience. Definitely try to do this in small groups as the experience exploring the cave is exhilarating when in a small group. Lots of open spaces as well as just enough tight squeezes and crawls to make it seem as if you are spelunking. As far as unguided safe caving experiences, this is a treat.

We loved this cave. It was nice to have a self-guided, self paced tour of a cave.
My young son enjoyed not having to wait and listen and learn as much he did in the other guided tours and we were then both more relaxed and able to enjoy the experience under the ground at our pace.
Compared to the other caves of the area (Jewel, Lake, Mammoth etc) the features were not as beautiful and dramatic. But there is enough variety to keep it interesting. You are provided with hand-held powerful torches that can be adjusted wide and narrow to highlight features. The hard hats can also have a headlamp (2 per group are provided). The headlight made it easy to climb the ladders without needing to hold the torch.
Some passage ways are small, which was fun, but if you are not comfortable in tighter spaces this probably isn't for you. Temperature is humid but not hot, although the climbing and scrambling kept us warm enough in LS shirts and shorts. Can be very dark in some chambers and also the acoustics are great for a hum or echo!
Must be 6yrs+ to enter.
We saw footprints for the native mouse (can't remember the exact name sorry) and also a live frog at the exit hole. Quite a long cave system and then a walk back through the bush over the main road.
People in the office were super helpful and gave a detailed briefing before we set off. Some small gifts available, but its not a gift shop.
Recommend for people and families interested in a more explorative adventure through the cave systems for a fraction of the price of the big 4 caves.
Can also get a double pass for access to this and Calgardup Cave.

This was a fantastic addition to our trip around WA. It is a self guided tour so you can take as much time as you need and you aren't in a big group. Only with the people you came with. It was very hands on climbing through small gaps and sliding down steep parts. Very interesting and the visit made our day!

Stunning experience,by far one of the better caves in this region. Not for the faint hearted and also well suited for Yogis who want to meditate in the Grand ballroom in complete silence and dark. We'll be back and awesome guidance from Kristie!!

Awesome, great cave to do. It is a little adventurous. Was lucky as a family with 2 young kids came out as were deciding to do or not.
Kids (12 & 11) absolutely loved it and want to do again - now.
Thoroughly recommended.
There are some narrow areas, slightly tight, a great adventure for us all.
