Such a lovely spot which isn't far from town at all! The water is clean, clear and a good temperature.
There are plenty of sandy spots to launch kayaks and paddle boards and not feel like you are encroaching on other people's space.

There is a rope swing which is fun!

The toilet is a long drop, but had toilet paper and was clean.

There are a number of benches, bins, picnic shaded areas and areas to explore.

Found this pristine and delightful spot along the Collie River during a recent visit to Collie. Just 3 minutes from town. It is stunningly beautiful, the birdlife is varied and very friendly. There is a family of inquisitive Magpies who are not camera shy!
Despite the day being overcast and a bit drizzly it was a lovely spot to visit and have a cuppa. Very peaceful and calming. Explored the different sections along the river - lots of grassed areas and so many spots to have a picnic. Ample provision of seating to enjoy the river views and some roofed shelters as well. One set of basic toilets near the main car park. Definitely check this spot out if you visit Collie. You will not be disappointed.

Tranquil, neat and tidy hidden gem. Longdrop toilets. No BBQs. Has a rope swing which is cool.

Beautiful peaceful area

Fantastic day use area, with a large car park that can accommodate a caravan too. Long drop toilet block available. Grassed area to sit and relax. I did not see any BBQs, but there are bins. Very close to Collie town centre. I did see people with dogs swimming and running around, but I am unsure if this is allowed, but I dont see why not.

Lovely place, one is delighted to be able to visit here often. Bike trail is sealed, water is good and swim, fish or kayaking. This lovely little spot is busy in warm weather! 💕

Tranquil beauty for a pleasant SUP within 2.5 kms West to the ford or 5kms East and beyond to Collie townsite.

Depends what you're looking for. There are no facilities to speak of other than a long drop toilet and a bench, but if you just want to sit by the water, or go for a swim or a paddle, it's a beautiful spot.
