I took my son, who is usually uneasy with haircuts, to Magic Moose this afternoon. Despite his usual discomfort, the lady at the salon was incredibly accommodating. She made every effort to understand and soothe him, making the experience as comfortable as possible under the circumstances. I appreciate her patience and recommend this salon to parents with children who find haircuts challenging

Friendly neighbourhood hairdresser with extremely affordable rates for mens, kids and women’s haircuts. Gets quite busy during school holidays as it’s extremely popular for kids. The owner is quite friendly and remembers regular customers which results in a very loyal customer base.

No EFTPOS available, only cash accepted.

My 2 year old had his haircut by Lilly at Magic Moose today and she was so amazing with him. He hates having his hair cut, but she was so quick and efficient, she definitely took the stress out of it! When we got home, he showed daddy his lollypop and dad was very impressed with the haircut as well. Would definitely recommend! :)

We have been going here for several year's for my kiddo's. I am now getting my own hair done here. Extremely affordable and very friendly staff. Hair cuts are always brilliant.

Did my (2yo) sons very first haircut today, let him watch dad get a cut to show him what would happen, put Bluey on, asked if they could give him a lolly and let us stick around to play with the trains afterwards. Were patient accommodating and very good with him. Even gave us a cute certificate with his first hair clipping. Didn’t judge my bad fringe job trying to put it off.

Booking process was easy, on the phone and via messenger.

Staff were on time which is great with little ones in tow.

Love the little train set at the front to entertain kids.

Tiny human was given an iPad to watch while her hair was cut and they also had several movies playing on TVs

Cash only was a bit of an annoyance however was told by another Mum before we went so wasn’t caught out when we got there.

Customer service was great as was their sanitisation before and after the cut

Highly recommend this place! We had a great experience today with Lily cutting our almost 2 year old son’s hair. We have been to other barbers before but our last experience there was not too great so it was very refreshing having someone really know what they are doing when cutting kid’s hair. Our son loves the trains there and says he loves hair cuts now too ❤

My twin girls enjoyed the haircut. The two ladies who cut the hair were very friendly towards my kids which made my twin girls to relax and enjoy their haircut. This place only accepts cash, so make sure you carry cash. Will definitely recommend this place, if you need to get your kids hair cut.

I would absolutely recommend this salon for both adults and children’s cuts the girls here are lovely and great at their job . I have been coming to this salon for 3 years now and never had a bad experience. The girls here are extremely good with children they’re very patient and caring .my son always enjoys getting his hair cut at magic moose . It’s definitely 5 stars ⭐ for us .

The staff were lovely and patient with our very introverted toddler getting a first haircut! The certificate at the end was super cute too. The staff were ready to wait until our toddler was calm and got in quickly while he was distracted! The haircut is great as well, exactly what I asked for.

Had my 1 year old get his first haircut here. The team were fantastic with my son and kept him entertained and happy. They did an excellent job with his hair. A really nice touch was my son's certificate for first hair cut he received after we were finished.

We also had no appointment and didn't wait long, there was also plenty of toys to keep him occupied.

Ever popular the staff here are so good with children... Who sometimes hate getting their hair cut. My kids have been coming here for years and I usually get my hair cut at the same time. The shop is clean and has plenty to keep the little ones occupied. It does get busy so appointments probably are a good idea if you can book ahead.

Have been taking my 4 year old son here since he was a toddler.... normally on a Saturday when it is pretty busy.. However very efficient and don't have to wait long. They are very good with kids. Toys and videos to keep them amused (especially good for kids who are not too keen on a hair ut) .. My son will only go here for haircuts now.

Yep, Lily will tell it like it is, but I couldn't be happier with my cut and colour. She knows her trade, I'd rather someone give me advice as to what will work better for my hair. Mainly cater to kids, but I can't fault it for fast service, price and a great service as an adult.

I didn't realise until I got there I had to pay cash. Easily resolved, servo next door. The two hairdressers on the day were lovely. Very fast/efficient for toddlers as they understand they don't want to sit for long. I have been to other hairdressers that took a bit longer than 12min. I would go again, despite living 15min away 😊 Happy child = happy mummy

My 5 year old doesn't let anyone cut his hair. Most hairdressers are freaked out by him being so scared and give up. Took him to magic moose and they just got on with it and finished the job. Good price, but cash only.

If you want your kids haircut done quickly and well - come here! It took 12 minutes for our 18 month old and 3 year old kids haircuts to be done with no fuss. We'll be back.

Too my nearly 3 year old ASD sim who absolutely hates haircuts in dreading his scream of death! But he didn’t scream absolutely amazing experience - had an iPad with Thomas and love the train setup! Highly recommend!

Great place, always fit you in and very reasonably priced. We are a family with very thick and long hair and Lilly is very good and knowledgeable when it comes to the best way to cut, thin etc! Both Lilly and Cynthia are wonderful!!
