Norwest Hospital Physiotherapy is the best Physiotherapy in the whole of Sydney. So cheap compared with other physiotherapists in the area and so knowledgeable. They're mature aged and have a wealth of knowledge.
They're not too busy to spend time with you and revise your exercise. They give you take home exercises and work out what they need to treat. I am so impressed that I'll be referring all of my friends!
Thank you Andrew for your help and advice.

Best physiotherapy practice in the Hills, all staff there are wonderful and highly recommend treatment from here.
I was referred by my doctor after ankle ligament reconstruction, and had the privilege of being treated by the lovely physio Caitlin. She did everything above and beyond to help get my recovery on track and to have me up and going 6 weeks post op. She treated me in a professional and friendly manner and I can honestly say I trusted her 100% with the treatment and recovery of my ankle. She is kind and caring and showed great interest in my recovery which made me feel supported during this time.

Have had several appointments at this physio for back and leg issues, was attended to by one of the senior partners, would highly recommend any physio here as they are very knowledgeable and experienced. They didn’t want me returning week after week with no end in sight, got down to the root cause of the problem and gave me exercises to help solve the problem myself. Great to be pain free.

The people working at Norwest Hospital Physiotherapy are all very friendly and polite. It is nothing personal and my comments are only professional.

After surgery on my right achilles's tendon due to a total tear and after my boot being taken off, I was sent, by my surgeon, to do rehabilitation there. My physio at the time was Caitlin. Although, she is a likeable person, professionally, she had no idea what to do for the recovery of the Achille's tendon, post-surgery. After 6 weeks, I was still walking on crutches and still had a wedge in my shoe. When the surgeon saw me he was furious. He told me after 6 weeks of treatment I should have been walking, driving and not walking on crutches with a wedge. I had gain next to nothing in my range and strength. Although, I was doing my exercises everyday.

I did think my recovery was very slow and I asked her about it and she told me it was because of many different factors. However, she did none of the exercises and therapy massages my surgeon told me I should have been doing. She also did nothing to build up my confidence, I felt I could not use my tendon, could not walk with no crutches, could not stand on my foot. She would massage my tendon and muscles for 10 minutes in total, give me a towel or band and let me do stretches for 50 minutes while she was walking around. My current physio literally spends 40 minutes working manually on my feet and legs, physically going into it to unlock my foot. Because when you don't walk for 3 months and you're foot in on a 30° angle, not only you lose muscle mass but also, the foot locks and you lose range of different motions.

After 6 weeks at Norwest HospitaI Physiotherapy, I went to see my chiropractor/osteopath who was quite worried as my scar didn't look good either after 6 weeks of treatment. She was only doing a 5 minute quick massage on the scar and a 5 minute massage on my calf muscles. The only exercises that were given to me were stretches with a towel. Nothing else. My surgeon was bewildered when I told him what rehab I was doing.

I decided to change practice, and I have now an amazing and knowledgeable physio, the same age than the previous one. After 40 minutes I could walk. Not fluently, but I could walk. In 6 weeks I gained a range of 8.5 cm which is enormous. she also has built my confidence and I trust her 100%. My new physio spends 40 minutes working manually on my muscles and my foot to unlock it, every sessions, before I start on exercises. Exercises include a series of stretches, weight bearing, tendon reinforcement, muscle building, etc. She has a holistic approach to the rehab. I also do shockwave therapy which helps the tendonitis on the left tendon. She does everything my surgeon told me I should have done from day 1.

In Norwest Hospital Physio, my ranges were never measured, in the current practice it was the first step she took. Every time I see my new physio, she measures my range to see how I am progressing. Twice, I saw two other physios from this current practice and they are as knowledgeable and professional as mine. They communicate between themselves and know exactly what they are supposed to do.

Going to Norwest Hospital Physio, I have lost 6 weeks of treatment, those 6 weeks were important as in the main time, I was compensating using my other tendon aggravating the tendinitis on the left side. The snowball effect also caused issues of a more personal and professional nature.

This is my personal experience with this specific physiotherapist.
