Little Singapore (Chermside)

Although very busy, they found a place for me. The service was great. Friendly and efficient. The food came out very quickly. The lobak came with a small serving of Fried tofu. Curry puffs were had a firm crust on the outside, soft and flavourful on the inside. The Ho-fun noodles were so nice! I had the combination ho-fun which came with 2 huge prawns on top. The dry curry chicken was very delicious. Highly recommended and not overpriced at all

First of all food was amazing with great service, special thanks to a guy from Philippines who assist us choosing the special food. All the staffs were friendly and nice. You won't regret visiting and having lunch here.

Delicious food and good portion sizes. The variety on the menu is huge and the vegetarian options were delicious. We had the Mapo Tofu, Vegetable Curry, Chicken Satay and Lychee Bomb cocktails. I'll definitely return to try some other items.

We came in group of 5 friends. Everyone enjoyed their delicious meals, big portion and didn't took too long to wait for the meal to come out. Highly recommend. Tonight was not so busy.

The Nasi Lemak took me back to my visit to Malaysia. The beef rendang you can choose for your protein choice with the dish was outrageously delicious. The crunchy fish and skin-on peanuts add an important textural element to the dish.

It comes out beautifully presented but I destroy the presentation and fold all the elements together to dirty up the rice. That way you get all the flavours together and it blows your mind.

I will be back again for this dish alone.
The fact they also have Tiger beer on tap is just icing on the cake.

I would love to commend the lovely waitress/server that we had who wore a red shirt. Sad we didn’t get her name but her customer service was spot on! As a previous manager at McDonald’s, I would like to applaud her initiative, customer centricity, beautiful greeting with a smile, cleanliness and making sure every customer needs were met. I LOVE the food here! My goodness can they do an amazing fried rice, my friend said she had never seen me eat so fast before, I definitely had hiccups but it was worth it. The mock tails are great too! The staff are wonderful and the place is beautifully decorated. The dragon heads on the back wall are super cute, wish I had one in my bedroom. I come here EVERY time I come to Chermside. 💕💕

Mango frappe was the best I’ve ever had. I would go back just for that. Curry puffs were really nice too. Beef & black bean noodle was also great. My friend loved the Laksa. Massive portion sizes as well. Excellent customer service too!

Great quality food and portions were very generous. Enjoyed the duck spring rolls and Duck Laksa. I really rate the laksa. Service was okay but main meals came out separately but didn't detract from the food.

We dined Wednesday night and its not crowded at all. I’ve missed having char kuay teow for so long hence I ordered it.

Catch up with our online gaming friend Ddawg and we ended up munching in Little Singapore. I love roasted duck and fried squid. Definitely must have in your order, their fried rice is cooked to perfection. Great spot to bond with family and friends.

We had a great lunch here. The soft shell crab with little buns and chilli sauce was better than the chilli crab we had at Raffles in Singapore. Service was great. The Roti are delicious.

We celebrated Mother's Day with my sister and brother-in-law. This restaurant is their local Chinese. Delicious food, large servings and the quickest service.

Enjoyed excellent lunch. Lor bak was fried delightfully crunchy. Soft shell crab bao excellent. The fried koay teow was very credible (as Penang person😆)- good attention to detail for husband with crustacean allergy. The roti with curry chicken was most delicious. Have to return try more dishes.

My partner and I have been a regular of Little Singapore. I go so often now I remember most staff faces 😅.

Food is way so tasty and in a good portion. My favorite have to be the Laksa and Beef HoFun. My partner favorite is the Haianese Chicken Rice and we both LOVE the duck pancake.
Menu has a range of dishes to chose from.

As a fellow hospitality worker, i really appreciate how fast and efficient the staffs are. Wait time for food has never been too long for us.

Bonus: we always get a table even when it is busy but it could be luck. I recommend booking a table if u go in group of 4+ during busy hours.

Great ambience, good natural lighting.

Located on the 2nd floor of Westfield, this was one of the most crowded restaurants in Chermside. There is a waiting list if you walk in. The host will write your name down.

Friendly service albeit the crowd. Empty tables were promptly filled with new diners.

Decent ambience and decor. Very stereotypical Chinese interior with lanterns and traditional tables. Probably looks like Singapore restaurants in the 80s. You will never find this decor anywhere in Singapore now. Lol.

Tiger beer pint under 10 was a huge plus for me.

We ordered:

Chili Crab - soft shell crab with a choice of 2 sauces and comes with fried buns (mantou). Which is almost a national dish, second to chicken rice. Chili crab sauce was too sour. They should balance it out with salt, sugar and MSG abit more. Otherwise it's a 7/10 for us. A little bit pricey at 30+.

Nasi Lemak - for 20+, it was quite good value. Huge serving of coconut rice, fried hard boil egg, fried anchovies, two fried chicken drumstick, either chicken or pork floss, cucumber and sambal. Can taste the preservatives in the sambal, was a bit disappointed that they don't make it from scratch. But it does take a bit of time to make good sambal.
7/10.

Combination Curry Laksa - this was surprisingly good value. Taste was good as well. Would've preferred more rempah and laksa taste if possible. Was abit on the watery bland-ish spectrum. But I would give it an 8/10.

Overall experience is an 8/10. Will be back to try the other dishes.

Also, just call the typhoon chicken, fried cereal chicken la.

Great place in the middle of Chermside shopping centre. I had the Lobak and Hofun Vegetarian Stir Fry and I loved both. The texture of the outside of the lobak is fantastic - very crunchy. I also tried their sour plum ice drink and it was great too. Would be even better with sparkling water.
