Gateway Property Management

This outfit is a joke. I've never encountered a less professional team. A tenant (call them B) told me that when they had an appointment to collect the keys to their new tenancy, managed by Gateway, the agent (call them J) simply didn't show up. It became apparent that the agent J stood B up and didn't call to explain or apologise or reschedule. Apparently, J was in Court to settle a dispute and so was someone else from Gateway. A property management company that is well-managed does not allow matters to get to the legal dispute stage and definitely not 2 at once. Walking into the open plan office, one of the staff members tripped over and laughed and let out a stream of foul language. Clients in the waiting area could hear. B tried to collect her keys. She was told "Sorry J is not here and left no instructions. J did not identify the keys so were going to have to have a look around. 20 minutes later an unkempt staff member brought out a tangled pile of keys and laughed and said. "We have no idea what these keys open. We haven't had a key audit for a while." Eventually B was given 3 keys to the property. She was then told by the unkempt staffer : "can you please cut some duplicates for us and we'll reimburse you. Normally we would only give tenants keys after we have already made sure we have a complete set..." with absolutely no indication of why they were so incompetent. Steer clear of this company whether you have a property to be managed or are a tenant

Been using these guys for a few years, since it started service has been going down hill.
Finally straw was spending unauthorised funds and charging me for things I don’t believe were done.

Nothing ever gets done. I have been living with a blocked sink for a year and a half

Absolutely disgusting how these so called professional people treat their tenants

Owner of real estate calls off a private number and abuses you. So very unprofessional and I hope this business fails
