The Gladstone Hotel

Staying here for 2 nights. Was reading trip advisor reviews and they are very very old and not relevant to the actual condition of the hotel. The place is very very good. Really bathroom, bed space, sofa, and cupboards. Good facilities and really enjoying the stay.

What a surprise! Beautifully renovated rooms with the most comfortable soft bed I have ever slept on in a hotel!
First time in Gladstone and would definitely be back to stay at the Gladstone.

Great spot! Newly refurbished rooms are comfortable & QUIET! Beds are also good. Shame the only eatery available was the nearby Thai restaurant, as the motel's was closed. Too bad if you don't like/fancy Thai. Otherwise, lovely location, great rooms.

Staying here for a night and we had a great time staying here. Very comfortable bed and we are a family of 4. Definitely worth it.

Well priced deal found online. Convenient to everything. Plenty of free car parking. Excellent customer service. Especially loved the reception was open very early. No breakfast on site but plenty of nearby options. Laundry was great. On-site restaurant a bit pricey and the swimming pool was beyond cold, even for victorians.

Comfortable rooms and bedding. Conveinent location.
Room service available from Rocksalt which is convenient.
Common laundry room located downstairs - 2 washing machines and driers available. Coins and laundry detergent available from reception that can be back charged to the room.

Great central location.
Super comfy bed.
Lovely pool.
10/10 dessert from room service.

Easy check in. I booked online and prepaid. Room was decent size and had good views. No complaints, everything went smoothly

Perfect stop for our family!
We were on a road trip and it was the perfect stop with kids, they loved the pool. VERY tidy and affordable, we had a room with two Queens that slept the 4 of us.

Beds were just incredibly comfortable, the windows closed fully so we could have our room dark and the air conditioner we could control to a perfect level (you know some hotels auto switch off and you wake up hot and bothered during the night), well having a split system meant we were in control.

The bathroom was extremely clean and tidy. Could not fault.

Yes it’s an older hotel, but everything was clean, comfortable and convenient to restaurants - also recommend the Yacht Club for dinner and Familia for breakfast (we always stop at these on our trips).

We will be back again!

Most finest hotel in Gladstone. You must take the sea view room in the hotel to enjoy the beautiful landscape view.

A nice hotel in the center of town with a pool and good views! Free parking and the rooms were big and well furnished. Bed was comfortable as well. They do ask for a deposit bond. Everything is a 5 min walk away as it's in the centre of town!

5 stars isn't enough for rating our stay. The staff were professional and friendly. Room was clean. Bed was the best I have slept on in years. And the view was amazing. Short walk to restaurants and bars. Absolutely loved our stay!

Very near ce staff. Good fine restaurant. We had dinner on Mondays night and the quality of the food was great. I had Gnocchi and it was freshly made with a nice creamy sauce. Recommended for having a fine night in any occasion.

My Business Trip was delightful.
Accommodation felt like a luxury stay with the beautiful rooms/and balcony view. The food and breakfast was a highlight of my trip - compliments to the Chef. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Friendly staff good clean rooms

I attended a Business event at Rydges, the room used was excellent.
Staff were attentive without being disruptive.
Facility overall was well appointed which meant we were able to get straight to work.

Great hotel, rooms really nice, balconies very pointless like hardly enuf room to stand let alone sit. Pool and parking were amazing. The pool over looked the water and was just an aw3some place after working a long day to relax. The Rocksalt restaurant is the best place I have eaten in Gladstone the staff were amazing the steak was to die for omg that sauce could if dranken a bowl of it I mean omg so delicious. The steak was cooked to perfection and the desert was outstanding a little on the expensive side but omg worth every penny for the food quality the service and the location. Could not fault one thing about this restaurant.

Travelling hard, reached hotel just before 8pm. It was my Birthday and the in hotel restaurant was just closing yet the managers granddaughter was very kind and helpful, making desserts for myself and Jean, made a good day much better, thanks for That.

Lovely place to stay. Rooms are clean and the bed is very comfy. Meals in the restaurant downstairs are well priced and taste great.
