The best restaurant in Gladstone! Lovely service, beautiful outdoor deck where we enjoyed drinks before dinner and our family had the most enjoyable meal! Kids meal (grilled chicken, mash and veges) was very tasty (as rated by kids and adults!) and great serving of greens. Beef brisket was tender and delicious and the grilled barramundi was perfectly cooked and had the crispiest skin. Tiramisu pot plant 🪴 was gorgeous. Highly recommend!

Food is really good. Service is half and half. The lady the desk is welcoming. The guy at the bar is clearly not loving his job. The girl at the tables is doing an excellent job. Ambience is not too bad. Clean floors, clean table and chairs. A little bit dirty walls. Otherwise it's okay. For Gladstone, it's good.

Had a wonderful dinner here. Will definitely be back there for special occasions.

Really happy we chose Rocksalt as the venue for our Toolooa State High School class of 2003 - 20 year Reunion. Everything went smoothly in the lead up and on the night. The staff were friendly and professional and the recently refreshed deck area was great. The food and drinks were excellent. Would recommend for any function, or for a nice night out.

Meals are always consistently very good quality. Mains menu seems to change seasonally/yearly? Personal favourites were the prawn fettuccine and the pesto gnocchi.

FINALLY, We found a restaurant in Gladstone with the finest of gourmet food, thank you for a wonderful experience.
The only criticism would be the lighting over the table was far to bright.
Really looking forward to next time

What an amazing experience.

I didn’t expect much based on the location and tired hotel it was connected to but WOW.

I had 3 courses, salt and pepper squid, feta stuffed chicken breast and creams brûlée.

The entree was a generous portion and while not blown away with flavour, a good starter.

The chicken was a new food experience for me. I experienced flavours I have never had the pleasure of before, immaculately presented and I slowed down eating it as I wanted to savour the experience.

The crime brûlée was a fantastic finish.

Thankyou Rocksalt, when I am next in Gladstone I will be back.

Came here for dinner and breakfast. Best restaurant on TripAdvisor and no doubt about it. Well run and trained staff. Had the barramundi for dinner and was done to perfection. For breakfast had the omelette with a mocha. Can park on the side road. Accepts all credit cards.

Nice meals, good flavour and great portion sizes. Environment not to loud, allowed for a nice chat.

Pricing review may not accurately reflect the meal cost, we spent a fair bit on drinks as well.

A group of three in town on business, this place had the highest google review at the time. We phoned and were able to get a table inside the next 30mins.

Our cab took us to right outside the hotel in which the restaurant is located.

We were seated with little fuss and the waitress was quick to bring us drinks.

Tuesday nights feature a deal for entree and main for $55, so we took advantage of that. The menu is on the small side, but there is enough for options and for most to choose from. All the food was cooked well, great tastes, and well presented, with generous portions. If I was to be critical, slightly too salty, but seriously… it was so good.

This was a great find, low hassle, great food. I’d highly recommend this venue.

We had our d9560 passport Rotary dinner meeting tonight (end polio now greatest meal) fabulous night, fabulous meals and fabulous service, Mary took great care and so did Terri.

I got the MSA steak which came with veges and pork spare ribs and I got chips and aioli and it was the BEST meal I've had in my life!!! Steak was amazing veges were AMAZING chips and spare ribs were AMAZING!!! WELL DONE 10/10

We had barramundi and brisket they were both really nice meals small but good.

10/10 desserts. So many good options it was difficult for us to choose just 2.
The Tiramisu Pot Plant & the Chocolate Tart were both to die for!

Service very friendly and all the meals were delivered in a very timely manner
All the agents certainly enjoyed their meal.

Best meal I've had in Gladstone. Baked Oreo cheesecake is recommended.

Had yet another perfect experience at Rocksalt. The food and service are immaculate. All 4 people at the table had delicious entree and mains. The main meals are sizeable. We never leave disappointed.

Rocksalt was a pleasant surprise.
The food was amazing but the service was exceptional. The food serves were very generous and all members of our party enjoyed their dishes, worth every dollar.
I would like to thank Terri our hostess - she provided us with very friendly, high standard care with a smile. Always ready to assist but not being over bearing. If you thought you would need it, she already was there providing you with it.
We were fortunate to get the deck area which was lovely and not well pictured on the website. It had a lovely view and was air conditioned - making it a lovely environment to have dinner.
