The best facility on the east coast. The Springmont crew run a top event. I have personally raced here and attended many events as a very pleased spectator. With abundant public access you get to experience every aspect. Great officials excellent volunteers and tasty food venders with bar facilities allow the family true value for money.
Racing into the tropical sunset is an experience I'll never forget.
If you haven't been yet I whole heartedly recommend it.
It's a lifelong memory waiting for you.

Great track. Heaps of run off and run down space. Commentators are great and keep the crowd amused and interested. Definitely worth a visit.
TIPS: Take shade and a chair. Also food. Shade is scarce. No seating. Food and coffee from a single van each. If you have them you’re in for a great day.

I went out to tropical meltdown northern nats, while on holiday staying in Mareeba. I was impressed at the quality of the strip and the way the show was ran. I am not local and this track is right up with other tracks in Capital Cities. Well done to the team on putting on a great event with great facilities.

Fabulous we had my sons car there for burnouts with Tropical meltdown awesome weekend.

Paid $150 completed an easy staight forward registration and scrutinieering which lead to some competitive and fun racing.Great day

Love it up there,been going since first opened as a spectator,and have been racing there myself for last 3 meetings..awesome facility,great track,helpfull officials,good camping and toilet/shower facilities..love the atmosphere up there ... BRING ON NEXT YEAR S RACING 😊😊.

Always good family entertainment at Springmount Racing Qld. Variety of grades if racing. Street cars, bikes, kids racing and really quick, LOUD cars !!!!
Well set up. You BYO your own food or buy there. Bring your chairs and make sure you rug up as it gets very cold when the sun goes down. Lots of parking, easy access to spectators hill.

The smell of burning rubber and fuel, the best place a boy racer (be they male or female) can get there fix for the week. Great set up including a camping area for those traveling from out of town. When the funny cars make there next visit book a camping site, bring the ear defenders or ear plugs and get against the fence. Feel the thunder through your body as they open the throttle and disappear down the 1/4 mile.

More food needed, but 20 signs within cairns telling us drags are on, but none saying turn right here to find the track

Good fun. Facilities are good and relatively well priced. Enjoyed the Northern Nats which had a good range of events.

Had my first street race I the northern nats and it wasa great experience and I met new lovely people,I want everybody to know go and experience yourself

Awesome place great racing only thing is they need to put the spectators on the other side so when the sun goes down nobody gets cooked

Allways loved the drag strip and this place just cemented my love for australian drag racing highly recomemd to go to race and or watch

Absolutely a great place to smell burning rubber watch fast cars and drink cold beers.. there should be more of it locally
