Waterfall is very picturesque. Nice swimming, picnic and camping spots. Parking lot is small and road is unsealed and narrow over the last 2kms. Footpaths are gravel tracks with steps and rocks / tree roots. Good experience overall.

In previous visits I have stayed at the first campsite but venturing further up to some spotlighting was just incredible. Owls, possums and bettong were visible in different areas and the views were magnificent. A standout wildlife and nature location.

A massive waterfall with swimming holes at the top and down below. There's a bumpy, dirt road for several kms leading in. There's picnic area and camping spots. The view of the basin and the waterfall is definitely worth the extra bit of the drive.

There's lots of steep steps and slippery, wet rocks on the path. Consider the areas when bringing children for safety.

Lovely little spot with great campgrounds, swimming spots, picnic areas. Only did a quick visit but would come back and camp if I had more time.

Absolutely gorgeous spot. There's about 10 minutes of driving to get there on a dirt road but it's do-able in a regular city car. Just really bumpy. Absolutely gorgeous 1km circuit with a cute picnic / swimming spot, lookout over the mountains and the falls. There are no toilet facilities at the circuit, but as you drive past the camping sight on your way up there are , so definitely stop there on your way up. Be aware that the rocks around the waterfall get slippery . There's a spot behind the waterfall (not the marked picnic/swim area) that looks like a nice swim spot but the water was really murky and the current was really fast. Possibly not a great idea to get in the water there for safety reasons.

Beautiful lookout over Davies creek Falls, plus access to a swimming hole. The drive out is on dirt roads but it's not too bad. Worthwhile in my opinion.

Nice camping ground and cool water hole. Bring you camper van or a tent will do. It won't disappoint the outdoor lovers. But requires booking in advance if you want to do camping. Hiking no booking required.

The falls are spectacular, the camping area and day use areas are good, facilities are good, hiking trails, swimming holes and plenty of wildlife. Good spot to camp (by pre payed permits via parks website)or just visit.

Peaceful camping right next to the river. Short walk to the stunning waterfall. Perfect for a nice sunset swim. Don’t leave any food outside at camp the cute northern bettong will try to get into it. Good spot to camp when doing some of the longer hikes nearby. Start early in the morning. Also great for a day trip.

Massive drop waterfall. One of the best I've been to. Opens up into a big valley with great views.

Roadworks at mid Aug 2021. The falls and creek are spread over three areas, two at the bottom with streams where children can safely swim - only toilets are here.
Up more, tread mindfully the Fall's trail. Careful at the falls's edge.

Such a magical place featuring nature's own infinity pool. Takes about an hour's drive from Cairns and the road up to the peak can be a little daunting (esp if you're scared of heights) but well worth it.

Such a beautiful place to visit. Definitely well worth the walk. Plenty of safety rails to help you get down to the falls aswell as on the way back.

Wonderful Falls, particularly at the moment because of recent rain showers which is unusual for this time of year.

Stunning spot for a dip. Easy to get to and plenty of areas to get your own space without feeling crowded.

Beautiful and peaceful place! The swimming hole at the top of the falls is unique. I can think of very few places you can swim safely right near the drop off like this. Lovely granite and open bush land, definitely worth a stop to cool off. We will be back to camp for certain!

Wow 😮😁👍 easy walk in to a gem of a rock pool, neato slide in, a bit more fun getting out 🤣🤣🤣 as it's all nice slippery polished granite 😁

Great location and you can get up close to the falls with a few spots with good views. Short walk from the top of the hill but only 5 or so parking spots. The road is gravel but ok for cars during dry season.
