Aussie Battler Pie Van

Used to come here with my Dad. Barry and his partner are amazing, super friendly and helpful. They have a great collection of pies and drinks and it is near a little picnic table. They even lent us a table cloth.
Hope this continues on for years to come. It’s a privilege that so many generations can have the same experience in such a beautiful town.

I usually get the hotdog with everything except peas. With a drink only cost $10.50 . It's fresh and worth the stop if you drive by. Always people here getting pies and food. If you see him I highly recommend stopping for something to eat.

famous for stuffing mushy peas into their homemade pies. can recommend the cottage pie and cheese stuffed with peas.
Even though the van is right by a busy road, there is a picnic bench nearby which looks out over a little river. about as good as it gets for a cheap lunch on the run.

My grandfather used to take me for a pie from Barry when I was little and now I bring my little one's, BEST pies, hotdogs and lots more!

The man with the van, the Aussie battler himself, this is my favourite food van, it's in a secluded yet open area with plenty of access, he has traffic cones out to mark he's there for people comeing around the round about, and a legend to have a chat to, gotta love a quick argument about footy, and who's gonna win you know, he's a lovely bloke just tryna make a living the menu is good, to food is to die for, and the owner is a legend what more could you ask for out of a legendary food van
