The Boundary Hotel

The Boundary is probably our favourite bar in the West End. Each floor has its own unique style and caters to different crowds, its a lot bigger than you think.

The food is good, especially the pizzas, which you can get 2-4-1 on certain weekdays.

Wednesday is quiz night and on the weekend the have live music upstairs.

Downstairs is more for sports/pool and relaxed beers with mates.

Great spot for lunch or dinner! I booked the Boundary for my work Christmas dinner & they exceeded all expectations. We had a large group booking, they reserved a space outside as well as inside which was amazing as the weather was poorly at the time of our booking. It was super easy to set-up a tab, we were able to order all our food & drinks on the one which made it super helpful. The best part, the food for our entire group was out within 15 minutes. We were beyond shocked but very happy. Food was awesome, everyone polished their plates. We left super happy with the service, food & atmosphere, great spot! Highly highly recommend.

Great atmosphere, heaps of choices of delicious meals, excellent service from the staff for all our beverage requests. Great service and organisation skills from Paris, for our little gathering of 15 annoying guests, to celebrate a birthday party. Paris was magnificent and very professional. Great venue for all your party needs.

Just getting back from a swing and this is where we frive 45min out of our way to come for good affordable food. Look at that happy face. We love coming here and can't recommend enough. Don't be shy if you're not Polynesian either. I feel so welcome and comfortable to ask questions.

What a night !! Found this joint while walking through west end with my Husband and was treated to such amazing service from staff and the food was fantastic. Would love to give a shout to our server Jed who did not stop all night to make sure we had everything we needed. He went above and beyond. GIVE THIS BOY A RAISE.

So happy they restored The Boundary Hotel, it’s old world character and charm certainly brings this old girl to life. I can highly recommend trying it out, it will give you a taste of our West End vibe. There are so many great spots to hang out, so do check out all areas as they are completely different. One of my favourite spots is the cafe in the side alley way on the ground floor, the staff are very helpful & professional. You order and pay at the window. It’s a very comfortable and relaxed spot to sit and enjoy a quick coffee, smoothie or have a bite to eat. Their seating area is very inviting, with 2 large hanging cane seats if you fancy trying them out.

Paris has awesome customer service and makes delicious CC/dry. She is very friendly and very welcoming. First time dining here and will be definitely be back.

Great food, coffee and atmosphere. Quick and friendly service, adorable food and drinks. Highly recommended.

Plenty of seating, perfect for groups. $15 express lunches are great value, includes a meal and drink. Falafel wrap with chips is vegan and is fresh, delicious and slightly creamy. Soy iced coffee was $4.50 and is on the creamier side, not too strong or watery.

Downstairs is filled with greenery, very cool with air conditioning. Upstairs area is full of light. They have fans which spray water, great place to sit in the summer time.

Would work here during the day as there are large benches to spread out and work. Music isn’t too loud.

Parmi was perfectly cooked and juicy! The Boundary Lager was really good as well.

Definitely recommend "The Backyard" which is the upstairs part of the bar.

Excellent food and service. They have obviously spent a lot of $$$ on the hotel’s decor, but this is not reflected in the price of food and drinks. $15 burgers and $7 schooners of coopers. Can’t go wrong !!!

Large establishment divided into a few different bars and levels, including a pool room and more formal dining room. We enjoyed the upstairs garden bar, great for chilling and people watching. Nice to see Guinness available, although we had a couple of schooners of Great Northern this time. Very pleasant bar staff, not too busy to chat, but still efficient

My bestie and I came here for a spontaneous Sunday lunch to celebrate her birthday. We were very pleasantly surprised. What a lovely spot. The area upstairs was lovely. Live music was great and our request was fabulous as well as an additional Happy Birthday song! We enjoy the soft shell tacos which were fish not crab, but delicious! We also enjoyed the gamberi pizza. A truly lovely afternoon. Pleasant staff. Great entertainment. Delicious food. Comfortable surrounds. Great for a casual Sunday afternoon.

What's not to love? Plenty of seating spaces, live music, chill vibes, great food and a wide array of drinks. Lunch specials are my favourite. The staffs were friendly and super cool. I'd say it's a great spot to chill on the weekend in West End.

I hit the jackpot with the live music last Sunday. Combined with a decent beer selection I spend nice hours in the Boundary. Food was on a sustenance level, don't eat it if you don't need to.

Love this place since It’s reno! It now has a café and a beautiful rooftop /outdoor seating area with live music in the evening. Not to mention, great lunch specials too!
