Wolston Creek Bushland Reserve

Beautiful long walk through the bush. A little confusing but worked it out. Lots of wildlife to be seen.

This is a most tranquil place to relax, where you can feel like you are far away from work and the hustle and bustle. Shall I say it?
Ahh, the serenity! Lol.

Beautiful trails for biking, stunning views. Higley recommended.

Great to take the dog's for a walk

First off, the power lines that run over the area. I don't know why, but as we walked along the fence line, we could hear a very distinct crackling. Could have been extra static in the air, I'm not sure, but the pins and needles in our bodies at the lower part of walk was really disturbing. Aside from that,loved the walk. Saw kangaroos and wallabies, and after some research, I believe we saw a Hairy Nosed Wombat, right down the bottom of the hill, close to the creek. Lots of bird song throughout the scrub, shame the tide was out. Sulfer crested cockatoos feeding in the gum trees along the river side. Wonderful day out. Hidden seats along the path for a rest and view. A large off leash areas for the puppers to run and socialise. Definitely not wheelchair accessible paths, even a struggle for strollers if you don't have the muscle for it. Needs some upgrades, but otherwise highly recommend 😊.
