Wung Nam Thai Water Palace

My family and I have been dining here since 2022 and we are never let down. The girls are lovely and very attentive which creates a great atmosphere, the food is just incredible! The Moreton bay bugs and the Sizzling lamb cutlets are definitely our go to aswell as their green curry.

Ver accommodating. Lovely food and good service.

Had such a fantastic dinner at Wung Nam Thai!

I booked online through google which was super easy! On google it says 8pm close on weeknights but they were open much later than that (around 10pm).

There were 6 of us in the party (3 couples). We decided to order the meals per couple, which I thought might be tricky for the staff, but they handled the order perfectly and we were able to split the bill at the end with ease, so that was great!

The decor was really nice, with choices of inside/outside tables, all right by the water on the esplanade.

My partner and I shared a prawn toast for entree, yellow curry with chicken for main (best sauce ever!!) and a small rice - that was plenty of food for us, but if you’re a bigger eater I’d get an extra entree or side of roti too. Everyone in our group said their meals were fantastic!!

I also got a house glass of Shiraz which was really nice and they are generous on the pour (thank you ;) ).

The service was fabulous! They had run out of a couple of dishes/drinks after we ordered but the waitress quickly came back to us, so it was all good.

Food was a tad pricey compared to other places I’ve been of similar standard, but the quality of food, the service and the location were awesome so it was worth it.

Wung Nam Thai never fails to disappoint me. I can never eat Thai food anywhere else, nothing beats the authentic Thai food cooked here. The pad see uel is absolutely beautiful and highly recommend.

Very friendly and helpful staff! I forgot to use the entertainment book when paying and when I remembered and asked them, they applied the difference as a refund. That is next level service with a smile! That's what makes a 5 star restaurant stand out from the rest.

The food was very nice and when asked for spicy they knew how to make it really kick, which was great for us (although may be a bit too hot for others so just caution here). Also the food came out quickly and correctly (even with the changes we asked for).
Similar to other reviews, my only negative was the portion size is on the smaller side.

But other than that, I'm a happy customer. Highly recommended this place.

Great view from the front tables looking over Pumice stone Passage. We had the lunch special, entree, main and a drink. It was great value and delicious. The staff were friendly and the service was quick. We'll be back.

The sizzling seafood and duck on the beach was some of the best food I've had.. the seafood was perfect. Duck was slightly dry but crispy.

But It was very expensive at $55 for seafood and the duck was about the same and $8 for a small bowl of rice (wasn't enoughfor 3 people) so my dinner cost about $120 plus drinks, and the portions are small (I'm glad i ordered 2 meals to fill up) we were all still hungry afterward, for the price the meals should be twice as big, but worth a trying once and a while and it was very tender.

I have never really post a review but this restaurant is worthy of one. Just wow. Order the crying tiger beef. Amazing and the service is first class. Location and atmosphere is just perfect

Love their $29 Lunch menu - I chose Crab Rolls, Panang chicken curry, & a glass of Merlot. Absolutely lovely meal. Excellent service overlooking the top of the Pumicestone Passage.

We had the prawn dumplings, prawn wraps., ,panang chicken, coconut rice and roti bread. Every dish was amazingly delicious!!

This was the best Thai we have had in a long time!! You could just smell the authenticity of flavour while waiting. The food was absolutely delicious! Can recommend the whole barramundi with the ginger sauce.

Great food, good service. Not the cheapest but worth it.

Food is amazing and the staff are so friendly. The Pad See Eul is delicious and the portion sizes are so big that I had leftovers for the next day!! Service was quick and efficient and the drinks were yummy. I’ve been here several times and each time has been great. Big shoutout to Paige, Corey, Sophie who were amazing servers and made our night special. Will definitely be back!!

It's just awesome, I have eaten a lot of Thai food, and this thai is really good. Everything I have had there, I love, and matched by the service, my first dish I ate there was pad cee eew, and it was the best I have had.
I recommend this restaurant.

Great speedy takeaway. Incredible service on offer here a really reliable business you can trust with your evening meal with friends and family. The Massamam curry was outstanding.

Bustling Thai restuarant. Ordered take away, the atmosphere while in there was colourful and busy with lots of empty plates. We ordered the chicken mince Larb and Pad Thai with pork. Both absolutely delicious. Best Pad Thai we have had and one of the top Larbs

The staffs are friendly, foods are all good and super fast serving. The kids enjoyed the foods with amazing ocean view. The prices are a little high but worth it.
