Dicky Beach Surf Club

A bit on the expensive side for drinks. Even being a member I paid $7+ a schooner. Food is good, has a TAB but not enough staff on meaning I spent too much time at the bar waiting to be served. Staff were friendly and the club is in a great spot right on the beach. I recommend it for lunch and a few drinks.

Family get together. 7 great meals. Sat in awe watching the kitchen smash out meal after meal on a busy Friday night and the staff promptly deliver the meals and clear our table afterwards. Great job done by all. Bonus was my sister winning a meat tray. The only one on our table from interstate! Us locals will get to enjoy the BBQ 😀 Well done Dicky. We will be back soon. Great menu too!

It was very busy but the staff were up to the task. They were efficient and the food was good and copious.

Very quick service even though it was very busy. Super friendly staff and great food.
I was really impressed as going out to lunch on a busy day with a toddler can be stressful but it was a really nice lunch.

We took our Cross Country School team here for dinner. The service was excellent all our meals were freshly prepared and delicious and the staff work tirelessly to make sure we had what we needed. We were a big group in on one of their busiest nights, Saturday, but not a fault with the food or service. Excellent!!!

I ordered the pork belly salad and my wife ordered the barramundi. My wife's meal looked really good but the pork belly salad was possibly the best meal I have ever had. I couldn't eat it all and I was expecting something smaller considering it was a salad. It was all done to perfection. I thoroughly recommend you try this meal.

Had the steak & snapper and it Was cooked well. Service was fast and friendly. Atmosphere wasn’t great - calling out on loud speaker for meat trays while you’re eating. Also no ocean view or balcony.

Went for lunch with family over the Easter weekend. Booked a table online and when we arrived we were quickly seated outside on the balcony - a lovely feel with the sea breeze adding to the atmosphere. We had the baked salmon, and the pear, walnut and blue cheese salad from the specials menu, and a carbonara. The food was excellent, quality ingredients and beautifully prepared and presented. Delicious. Staff were friendly and attentive. It’s our new favourite surf club. I asked for the chef to be complimented on my way out.

Fantastic facility, Great Customer Service, Staff are friendly and welcoming. Cheap membership with heaps of parking available. Very clean amenities. A variety of cold beer & drinks on tap. Has Pokies. Food menu in between meals as snacks are exceptional as are the main meals. Great views highly recommend a visit if in the area or looking for a great fun night out .

Great food with a big variety, service was great. It was a bit noisy but it was a Friday night so should be expected.

As usual, a great lunch at a popular surf club restaurant. The serving staff always appear to be a happy bunch, always eager to help.
The kitchen provide a fabulous lunch - well priced and well cooked.

DBSC was a great choice for our wedding reception! It was a bit rocky at first because I believe they seemed to be finding a new events coordinator, but once Jasmine came on, it was very smooth. She's extremely organised and got me everything I needed (such as room layouts & a breakdown of everything for the night), and was happy to revise things as needed. The staff were also great and helped set out decorations I had for the night as well, and were very kind serving drinks and food throughout the night. Absolutely everyone raved about the food, saying it was the best wedding food they'd ever had! My brother in law and I also agreed that the fries there are beyond amazing. The lights in the deck were absolutely beautiful on the dance floor as well. Would highly recommend the venue for anyone having an event!

Staff were jovial, especially the owner / manager. I stopped in for an afternoon drink and had to come back for dinner as they were so nice and informative and accommodating. Ribs and wings special was well priced and yummy. I couldn't give 5 stars because the Ribs were not falling off the bone (picky!) And ranch dipping sauce was gross. But atmosphere was great and wine selection was great. They even opened a fresh bottle for me to make sure my glass was fresh.

Great meals and the young staff were helpful, professional and friendly. Highly recommended.

My sister and I had a wonderful evening at the Surf Club. The service was excellent and the staff amazing. Dinner was definitely delicious and prepared beautifully. I have to say the meals were equivalent to any 5* restaurant! I would also like to mention the fabulous Carolina who was delightfully efficient, professional and definitely management material in every way!💐

Great food, Quick drink service, Service at the Bistro a little slow. We had to move tables as the live music was extremely loud whilst we were eating and we couldn't hear each other at our table.

We live locally and love this place. Close to home and on the beach.
Food is simple, but tasty. Highly recommend the garlic pizza bread.
As a member, the benefits are amazing
