Blue Mountain Gutter Mesh

I had tried many gutter mesh products to keep starlings out of my eaves and Blue Mountain Gutter Mesh is the only one that has been successful. It also looks great with the mesh and fittings matching my roof colour and the edge trim matching the gutters. Great product.

The 2mm steel mesh is tough and the attachments are good. The mesh lock trim has teeth on it that holds the mesh in place and is definitely worth getting.

I really enjoyed spending a week of annual leave wire brushing off the surface rust discolouration that developed on my galvanised Blue Mountain Mesh around seven years after installation and applying a primer and undercoat to restore the original colorbond colour. A great choice for those who prefer a mottled brown gutter highlight to complement their original roof colour. Beware, the ten year manufacturer’s warranty only covers perforation, not surface rust discolouration.

Support staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. They have helped me out immensely from planning to delivery, rectifying any minor issues that have arisen.

The Blue Mt people were great to deal with and supplied the gutter guard promptly via Australia Post. Easy peasy all around.

I’m surprised to see any negative feedback for Bluemountain Mesh as my own experience could not have been better. Although the company is based in Qld and my job was in the Gippsland region of Victoria, from the original contact to completion of job it was done seamlessly. The local contractor provided a very reasonable quote and the work was carried out quickly. The contractor was very personable and there was always communication between Bluemountain, their contractor and myself. Photos of the completed job were take by the contractor whilst still on the roof. I couldn’t be happier and strongly recommend them.

Had to buy some additional mesh to fix roof after some storm damage. Portia was most helpful. User friendly company.
