Addictea Southbank

I was glad to see that Addictea in Southbank was open during my recent visit. We've tried to visit a few times before, but it was always closed, so this was a pleasant surprise.

The shop was clean, and the staff were friendly. The tea was quite good, and I appreciated getting an air freshener for my car during the promotion. The only downsides were the parking situation, as there isn't much available, and the pricing, which is on the higher side.

Best bubble tea I’ve ever had in my life. Highly recommended. Have tried the whole menu now, ALL OF THEM ARE JUST SOOOOO GOOD!

Some of these reviewers need to be more cognisant of the fact this place has just opened. OF COURSE there’s going to be a line and teething issues on their opening night.

We dropped in last night (mid-week) and the place was rather quiet. Service was prompt and friendly and most importantly the tea was great. The venue was incredibly cosy and I think this will quickly become my go-to location when I’m with friends or even business contacts.

Addictea have gone above and beyond with their branding and packaging; we took our tea home in a beautiful little carry bag and couldn’t have been happier.

Discovered this place by accident when looking for a park near Southbank. Great selection of boba and some more exotic mixes. Taro was amazing, just the right consistency. Planning on going back soon to try some of the other types of tea.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Addictea in Southbank, and I must say, it's an absolute gem! This place has become my go-to spot for a delightful bubble tea experience.

Firstly, the ambiance of the place is fantastic. The moment you step inside, you're greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere that instantly puts you at ease. The interior is beautifully designed, creating a perfect blend of modern aesthetics and cozy comfort.

The menu boasts an impressive variety of flavors, from classic milk tea to refreshing fruit-infused options. I have become an avid fan of their "Strawberry Mei Mei"!

The staff at Addictea deserves special mention. They are incredibly knowledgeable about their teas and always ready to help you make the perfect choice based on your preferences. Their friendliness and enthusiasm create a welcoming environment that adds to the overall experience.

I was genuinely disappointed to hear that Addictea has temporarily closed down in Southbank. The area was such a perfect fit for such a delightful place, and it was no doubt it a popular hangout spot.

This is probably the best bubble tea I’ve ever had😊 Absolutely deserves their name - I’m totally Addictead. I’ve been ordering at least one weekly since it first opened as it’s just round the corner from mine.

Only one genuine advice: make the osmanthus jelly bit smaller. It’s always hard to get them through the straw.

Will keep coming as a loyal customer😉

This is the best Buble tea I've ever had. They use actual tea to make your drink not artificial flavours. Nice and clean shop too. 100% recommended.

just prior to entering the store, my friend fell down and scraped her elbow. the staff members on duty very kindly and readily offered first aid assistance - thank you for your help!

we ordered a peach oolong milk tea, original oolong milk tea, roasted green tea milk tea and genmaicha milk tea. our order was prepared very quickly despite having a few customers waiting for their drinks. the drinks were all delicious, though i would recommend getting 50% sugar or even less as the 75% ones were a little too sweet.

Very rich tea available here. They freshly make tea for each customer, which seems to represent their passions to making high quality tea. Although expensive, it’s worth drinking.

Great milk tea with lot of choices. There has a sitting area in the second floor as well.

My Aussie friends were very interested in trying our bubble tea so I had to bring them to my favourite place. They loved peach berry yogurt so so much so we went back the second day lol. 🤣🤣🤣

The customer service has improved. Vegan options are the fruit tea range. Not plant-based milk substitute for the bubble milk tea lol

This is my favourite milk tea shop!

I have visited almost every single milk tea shop in central Brisbane, and Addictea is undoubtedly, unequivocally, the undisputed best milk tea shop Brisbane has to offer. To call it a hidden gem would be an insult to its quality. But it is, because it doesn’t show up on the map a lot and it’s not in a position of prime traffic. It doesn’t take a lot of online orders as well.

But my god, the tea here is exquisite and very lovely.

So first of all, it’s very affordable. It’s not like it’s expensive or anything, which to me actually feels like the tea is way underpriced.

Secondly, you don’t get alot of customisation. You might ask, hey, isn’t that a bad thing? Well actually no, because too many options and too many decisions is actually annoying. Most tea and topping combos here are handpicked by the owner and so when you choose a tea you get the whole package in the form that the tea house wanted you to experience it.

The atmosphere is very neat. You get a nice little upstairs chilling area and it’s very quiet.

In the modern age of bubble teas, I feel like many tea shops have lost its way, in its pursuit of fruity westernised flavours and topaico toppings. But this tea house is definitely worth a visit. It is so unfortunate that it is situated in an area that is difficult to discover by the normal steam of pedestrian traffic, so I am singing words of praise and lament online in hopes that more people can enjoy and experience what it has to offer.

Probably one of the best bobas in the area. I really love genmaicha milk tea with their house-made taro qq ball things. Truthfully I haven't had too much of their other things but I've heard good things about the fruit teas.

A very enjoyable place to visit. Some of my favourite aspects about Addictea is the decor and interior renovation that they have done. This is only second to the wonderful art they print on their cups and bags. These two things alone coupled with good quality tea means quite an enjoyable experience. Thanks Addictea, stay beautiful!

My absolute favorite tea place in the city or ever! I’d compared this to half-n-half in Pasadena, CA in the United States! The packaging is top notch, feels very premium with a boba tea to match. Prices are very affordable too, I go to this place almost once a week. Addictea is the best!

By far the best tea I've ever had! I have tried nearly every single drink on the menu and has been amazed how good they all taste.
Can never go elsewhere. This place use real ingredients - real taste.

Staffs are so friendly. And here is definitely the best milk tea shop in Brisbane!!! Specially Taro paste milk tea is so wonderful. I always start a day with this milk tea. It makes me quite full And happy :))))
