Lost Bean (Grey Street)

Lovely cafe! As it’s my first time here, the folks at lost bean patiently discussed and recommended food based on my preferences. Food was amazing and I love the coconut latte and anything with Turkish bread. Will definitely come back.

The Lost Bean Cafe holds a special place in my heart, and it's a cherished spot for my riding group. On Saturday mornings during our bike ride, we make a pit stop here for some much-needed caffeine. They open bright and early and the coffee they serve is unparalleled in South Bank. The barista's foam art is a delightful touch, adding an artistic flair to every cup. Moreover, the staff is exceptionally friendly, making each visit a warm and welcoming experience. This cafe is truly a gem.

Scrumptious! Yes, it's your Australian cafe with coffees and food (mine B.L.T.) - but, with something very special about it. Pleasant, interesting flavours and very positive coffee taste that sparkles; all a surprise so near a busy tourist destination. Very peaceful outdoor seating, most pleasant staff, nothing to complain about.

Lost Bean has become one of my regular spots before our morning walks. As a pet owner, I truly appreciate how pet-friendly they are. The coffee is consistently good; I personally opt for the almond milk most mornings, and it doesn't disappoint most of the time. I don't usually get the coffee art that other reviewers get, but it serves the purpose for a quick caffeine hit before walks with energetic outdoor dogs like Huskies. While service is commendable on most days, it can get a tad busy occasionally. Yet, they manage it well. Location-wise, it's perfectly situated on grey street, making it a convenient stop for me. For winter days, they do have outdoor heaters as well!. Highly recommended for those in the area!

Lost Bean of my favourite spots to grab a coffee in Southbank. Even their decaf is great, which I can't say about many places. I've had brunch here a couple of times, and the food has always been good. No substitutions are allowed on menu items, but you can build your own breakfast to suit your tastes and dietary restrictions.

this is fantastic place that I know in Brisbane. we ordered ice long black, dirty chai and ice choc with ice cream.🍨 All the staffs were soooooooo kind and professional. I want to recommend this cafe to my friends. I MUST visit here again:)

Amazing breakfast. Service was excellent. Food was delicious, fresh and great serving size. Have to note how well presented the dishes were. Coffee was superb. Can't wait to go back!

Great tasting coffee, we had a mocha and latte. Appear to have a good selection of food although we opted to skip as it seemed pricey for an unnecessary additional treat. Very accessible (parking aside) and friendly staff. Will definitely stop by for coffee again.

Do yourself a favour and stop for a coffee fix. Francesca is a wonderful barista and native Italian lass.... her accent is very cute and she's a wonderful chat.
My latte was so good, I went back on my return pass and bought another.

We’re here on holiday and stopped in here for brunch a couple days ago. The food was delicious, we ordered 2 big breakfasts (portion size was a little on the smaller side but still yummy), eggs bene with bacon, waffles, a chocolate milkshake and coffee. We left no crumbs. Great service from their staff too.

My favourite cafe in South Bank. Great food and service. Definitely a must try.
