Yugumbir State School

went here for all of primary school still have really good friends from here but the principal Mr. Bishop is very sports orientated this school is amazing overall and the music program is brilliant I was a music captain here and everyone came to me for help it was great the teachers are amazing and patient it was some of the best years of my life and i will always remember the music awards night i was given the Mr. Wills dedication to music award and im forever great-ful my parents sent me here.

My daughter is a school captain and has had the best time ever here. Yugumbir is so underrated but it is actually amazing. The principal, Mr Bishop is so kind and caring to each and every student. Yugumbir offers many activities like touch rugby, tackle rugby, chess, swimming, camps, netball and so much more. Doesn’t matter if your kid is sporty or academic, they will find their perfect place and success at Yugumbir.

personally I loved going to this school it was patient with me as I have ADHD and autism, the staff are all very patient with me as well as the students I recommend this school because I changed schools and this one actually taught me things the school is well managed and the staff are kind

I used to go to this school, so call me biased, however, it's a great school. The teachers are great, there's a sense of community and the education is above average. If you want your child to have a good time in primary school, this is one of the many places to go.

This school is definitely the best in the area. I went here as a child and have turned out a hugely successful multi millionaire. So they must be doing something right. I have nothing but good memories of my time at Yugumbir

This school could possibly be the best primary school in Brisbane. Teachers are wonderful and full of opportunities. Highly recommend

definitely the best school i went to in primary, and i switched schools 4times. yugumbir actually taught me stuff in a manner i could actually ‘comprehend’ .. meaning i forget everything but i didnt at this school lol. best teacher is definitely mrs jackson me and my class would always sing “im sorry ms. jackson OO! I AM FOR REAALLL” whenever we mis behaved and she always forgave us and we moved on SLAYY. bts is cool lol bye

Great school. We had 2 children there for a few years. Teachers were fantastic. All round good public school.

I used to go to this school when I was in prep but people are saying since the new principal came the school has changed and the new principal got rid of the breakfast club because it looked messy

Do not send your child here, id give 0 stars if i could!! Especially if they have any type of special needs or a learning disability! Won't do anything to help your child! Will continue to tell you they are doing fine! I gave this school 12 years and the last 3 years the school had totally changed!! It lost all its spirit!! From best to worst in less then 2 years I believe due to the principle!! And changes in staff !!
