Aquatic cafe

We were there late Friday afternoon so it was quiet and staff we're super friendly. As other's have said,it's not the cheapest coffee though.

The food here is beautiful, their gourmet rolls and butter chicken filo are my absolute go to. Although the line can be very long and the wait on food can take a little while. With a little patient waiting, you’ll get the best outcome from this little cafe.

I know what it’s like working in hospitality, it can be handful too. And as a customer you just need the right attitude, some gratitude and little appreciation for what the staff here bring to the table.

P.s you should try the steak and Guinness pie with the salad. Absolute banger!!
P.s.s get a side of chips with any wrap makes it a whole lot better too. Maybe even add an iced coffee with too to cool off in this dreadful summer heat!

Every time I have visited this cafe the staff are lovely and the food is always satisfying. The tables are always clean and I don’t usually have to wait long for my order. The staff put in hard work with terrible customers, keep up the good work ☺☺☺

Beautiful gardens around the outdoor seating, the best Merlo coffee I have ever had, staff are so nice and really look after us. Def recommend stopping in if you are visiting Sleemans for a swim or the gym. Great menu too!

Management of this venue need to step it up by overseeing and supporting their staff. I would be a daily customer (I am at the venue daily) if I was more sure of the venues hygiene and safety standards. I purchased 2 sandwiches on 11/3 and both were dated 6/3. The bread was stale and I dry reached. The tables for dining in, are not clean and are uninviting. If more attention was given to Customer Experience and providing safe and variety of food to support Athletes and parents of Athletes this could be a thriving hub and do Sleeman brand proud. There are a lot of disgruntled parents as customers and many who travel far and with reasonable expectations. Currently it’s a lost opportunity. I purchase my coffee from TMB down the road or the new Garden venue opposite Sleeman.

Crazy expensive just a shame this is the only place to get anything in the area.

Location is great food is OK but pricey however the staff experience today was appalling.
Male behind the counter was openly complaining it was busy (30 mins before closing time) and he had 2 shots at me personally. Once to my face and once to the next customer in-line.
Previous staff have been very pleasant but tonight was not just rude, but next level. He certainly deserves disciplinary action.

Very average service. And by average I mean no care factor.
The service was slow and not very friendly.

The one star review was because after specifically ordering a gluten free meal I was given the wrong order. After having a mouthful I discovered that I had been given a gluten meal. I returned it to the kitchen and explained what had happened. They did not seem concerned or apologetic. They just looked at me as if it was my fault. I explained how dangerous for coeliacs this could be. No care factor at all.
Just walked away.
I waited around and eventually gave a a GF meal. When I questioned that it was not what was in the display cabinet they said that the GF option was not what was in the display cabinet.
Clearly no food safety level in place or customer service training.

The cost of the coffee is now $5.30!!!! It was $5 before Xmas. What could warrant such a huge increase. No other place charges that much. The ladies in my aqua group are all shocked. I will bring my own in future
