Dr Johnstone is most professional in his practise. He is no-nonsense & extremely practical. His staff, Sue and Lois, are very caring, friendly and reassuring. Particularly with my latest injury Sue tried her absolute best to get me in to see Dr in a most timely manner! Highly recommend!

In 2018 I (Vicki) was referred to Dr Peter Johnstone regarding very painful knees.

Dr Johnstone explained the damage with my knees and recommended bilateral knee replacement. Dr Johnstone was thorough with explaining the details of the operation and the recovery period involved. His care and advice was above and beyond. I am most grateful for my new knees. It was the best decision I made and mobility is 100% better.

In 2020 I had a severe fall and broke my right femur. Thanks to the expertise of Dr Johnstone, at my request, he once again looked after me, inserting an IM nail. Recovery was tough and Dr Johnstone always provided positive support. As a result of the fall and breaking the femur, I landed on my left knee which caused discomfort. In 2022 Dr Johnstone resurfaced the patella and now I walk without pain.

I am most grateful and thankful to have Dr Johnstone and his staff Sue and Lois for their ongoing professional care and support.

Dr Peter Johnstone has been my Orthopaedic surgeon since 2005. He has performed many different types of operations over the years on me, and has always been successful at whatever he does, including me having both my hips replaced.
I highly recommend Dr. Johnstone, he is The Best.

Dr Johnson treated my husband after a terrible accidental injury to his left leg. His skills as a surgeon are second to none and the post op care he and his incredible staff gave to my husband was very caring and very thorough. I can’t recommend him and his team highly enough. Dr. Peter Johnstone operated on my hip after a skiing accident that left me with a chronic limp.

From first contact his staff were attentive and highly professional. Dr. Johnstone was very thorough in his assessment and took the time to explain all the treatment options to me. I found his conduct highly professional and it greatly exceeded my expectations. Since the surgery I have been completely pain-free and my limp is gone. I can not recommend Dr. Johnstone more highly.

I had the good fortune to have been referred to Dr Johnston to have my recent hip surgery. To say I am extremely pleased with the outcome would be an understatement. I am reinvigorated and pain free. However, it doesn’t stop there, the quality of post operative care and attention by the whole team involved is first class.

I have had knee surgery 12 moths ago which was unsuccessful by another surgeon. Dr Johnstone was very professional and ensured that I would be able to go back to skiing in the future. Post surgery was 100% better than last time my recovery has been so much better. I recommend with confidence Dr Johnstone as a surgeon.

I have been dealing with this lovely bunch of people for over a year and a half. I have always felt very welcome and any questions I have had, have always been answer with genuine care. I would highly recommend this company. Dr Johnstone has been wonderful and he has always listen to my concerns and put my mind at rest with his supportive answers.

My husband saw Dr. Johnstone for a second opinion about a surgery to remove a lump on his toe. Our experiences with him and Sue have been amazing from my first phone call. Sue was incredibly kind and professional, and took the time to listen to and answer my questions when I called, nothing was too much trouble for her. Dr. Johnstone is extremely professional, knowledgeable, kind and efficient. He investigated my husband’s issue further than the previous surgeon, and was able to tell us what the issue actually was, rather than just cutting it out without knowing. I highly recommend.

Have had multiple surgeries on my knee and Dr Johnstone has done an exceptional job each time. Having to deal with chronic pain and a joint that is very unstable, Dr Johnstone has guided me in making the best decision for each surgery over the last 15 to 20 years.

Can't thank Dr Johnstone and his caring staff enough. Faced with the possibility of losing my foot and with bones that were in very poor condition the Doctor has done an absolutely marvelous job. He has been a miracle worker for me and I am well on the way to full recovery. I shall always be deeply grateful for the skill, professionalism and caring attitude throughout the entire ordeal.

Dr Johnstone has changed my life with his wonderful skills. I can never thank him enough for all he has done for me.

Dr Johnstone is an amazing surgeon. Brilliant, kind, skilled and explains procedures in language that is easy to understand.

After an accident 47 years ago, many operations and different surgeons and 4 knee replacements later, a lot of pain and an inability to walk safely without my knees collapsing I went to Dr Johnstone. He showed me that using the latest modern prosthesis and his updated surgical skills that he would have me "walking safely" like a normal person. He drew sketches, showed models of knees and explained everything so clearly. It involved 2 more knee replacements and finally a "living" donor kneecap and tendons in my left leg. My own kneecap having been removed 47 years ago.

This has been executed over two years, and due to his skills it has been an outstanding success!

They say that behind every great man there is a great woman but in this case Dr Johnstone has several great women led by Sue. Whether it is on the phone or in person they are so helpful, nothing is too much trouble.They are efficient, friendly, wonderful ladies.

Dr Peter Johnstone is an amazing Orthopaedic Surgeon. After having 2 broken ankles (same ankle twice) I can honestly say it was his surgical magic that has allowed me to walk again . He is a very patient and caring doctor and tells you exactly what you need to know. I would highly recommend him to my friends & family. Thank you. He also has delightful staff!

I had the best experience with Dr Johnstone. After a series of ankle rolls in sport, my ankle had become extremely unstable and causing me pain and not being able to play sport at all. Dr Johnstone provided me with my options and carried out a ligament reconstruction - and I’ve played three full seasons of hockey since with no problems all! I would highly recommend Dr Johnstone.

Dr Johnstone operated on my shoulder after a skiing injury. I found him very attentive and caring. I was in lots of pain. He was very thorough in analysing the best possible treatment. 2 months after surgery I was back to 100% use of my shoulder. Such a relief after months of pain.

Dr Peter Johnstone has consulted and performed several orthopaedic operations and procedures on 5 members of my family.(ranging from dislocations to ligament damage to meniscal tears and fractures) After an extremely serious knee injury (which required several surgeries) my son has managed to regain full use of his knee and has even returned to running. The care and empathy that Dr Johnstone showed our son was way beyond the 'call of duty' and his professional manner was both comforting and reassuring. As both a patient and a mother I have found Dr Johnstone's professionalism, empathy and orthopaedic procedures to be exceptional.
