Had a really great customer service here. I was buying a wick trimmer and lighter set and the woman who helped me let me know about deals/offers happening in the store, which allowed me to get 4 wax melts for essentially free just by working with the discounts. I would have spent the money either way.

I bought some tea light candles in the passing week. The young lady was prompt and polite. I have bought camping candle holders from dusk before, so that the star of David (whether it be Chinese or Jewish) can see me while camping.
I said to the young lass, " I bought these from the dollar store, but no smell. The smell." ( The wonderful teachers at Brunswick College, Mrs. Cousin BouCay of Ceeping up Appearances. Letter C. For consonant.
In the passing year I saw a police lady who should have been watching the pedestrian traffic outside McCarthur building and Queen Street Mall, Brisbane. Instead she was shopping over the phone for tea lights for a special occasion. Naughty.

Listen, this company's products are stunning. 2 stars for that. I would be in here regularly if it weren't for the employee Blaise. This lady marches up to you after you've already been spoken to by the lovely other employee, disrupting your casual, otherwise pleasant shopping experience to tell you about the current deal. Her directness makes it clear she doesn't care about you as a customer, she cares about your money. As she conducts your transaction, there is a further lack of customer service warmth, only continued tries to upsell rather aggressively. I assume she's some manager who only cares about numbers but I've been in this location twice, and given the same experience. Fool me twice.

Someone also needs to tell her to not use gendered words when referring to a paying pair. I'm clearly trans female and present as such, my partner cis female. Blaise could have easily said "have a good day, ladies" on our way out. But we got have a good day "guys." Neither of us is a guy and that's also far too casual a way to refer to a customer who's just given you nearly $50...

I love the candles and products you have, sometimes they are pricy, but they are nice!

I would give you 5 stars if it wasn’t for my bad experience Saturday 12/12/2020 4pm where the young lady did not want to wrap the 2 items I got, she was abrupt and rude, she wrapped for the person before me , but says ‘I’m busy I can’t’.

Mind you there are 2 people working!!

I returned 5 mins later and literally they had no customer and the staff had nothing to do!!! Then I asked for my candles to be wrapped and the young lady says ‘sure! Why not’!! No sorry nothing throughout the whole experience.

This is not the customer experience I expect and I am very disappointed in the service, I will try and find other places with better service.
