Rice Furniture

I absolutely adore Rice Furniture at Fortitude Valley. They have really beautiful and unique pieces at great prices. The staff are lovely and helpful.
But 6 stars goes to Rebecca the interior designer. She is amazing and so so kind and helpful.
I was a bit sceptical at first but I'd recommend this service and Rebecca to anyone needing some design help. It's well worth it!

What an amazing experience we had today visiting Rice Furniture Fortitude Valley. After visiting all surrounding furniture stores and not being welcomed or even acknowledged, we were greeted by Marvin whom was such a pleasure to deal with. Marvin was very professional, fun and his knowledge about furniture and interior design was second to none. It is such a lovely store, beautiful products, great feel and great staff. Highly recommend.

Rice Furniture at Fortitude Valley is the best. Not only do they have excellent and quality products, they have great staff as well that attends to all my needs. It took so long for me to purchase what I want and I end up buying several items and they all look great at my place! Marvin is excellent and very helpful!

I will come and visit again as I need another items and surely I will recommend this store to my family and friends!

after looking at scores of mass produced, low quality furniture in the surrounding showrooms we stumbled into Rice and spent hours there. Furnished out whole holiday home with the assistance of the two lovely staff there! So lucky to find such quality and beauty

Was really impressed with both the service and quality of the furniture, particularly at this price point. I deliver high end furniture for a living and see what you get for 5x 10x or even 20x the price! Will definitely be adding more Rice pieces to our home.

This showroom is full of stunning design ideas and beautiful items of furniture... Whilst there was a bit of confusion around the ETA of some of our furniture, my Husband and I must say that the issue was resolved both promptly and professionally... We have since purchased another two items - a king bed end & an office chair that were both currently in stock... The staff are very friendly and always happy to assist you...

I am so impressed with the most friendly professional customer service ever ..in particular Mavein is the Person to see ...understands what u looking for, hears you and goes out of his way to make a really pleasan he is creative in helping u shop for those important decisions ....highly recommend

Highly NOT recommend buying furniture here!
1. My order has been delayed for a month without any notice, I have to make calls to chase my order.
2. The delivery company they hire is ridiculous, they left a mess in my house and SCRATCHED my floor!
I have called customer service & emailed them, they said we signed the delivered form and nothing will relate or resistibility to them....

Very poor customer service. I bought some furniture recently from RICE furniture. I was trying to help the girl who was carrying the big boxes to my vehicle and carried a box myself. I may have accidentally knocked the deco dog outside the entrance and the other lady at the store charged me the full price of the deco dog though it was a minor damage to one ear and a small crack mark. It wasn't for sale but I was charged the full price. I asked for the item as I paid full price for it and after coming home I saw there were more minor damages to the dog. When I checked their facebook page I realised the item had been used at the entrance for few years as per their facebook photos and wasn't a new item though I was charged the full price. I sent several emails to RICE furniture informing of this and requesting a fair fee for the damage and that I am happy to return the item as they can sell it as a damaged item ,but unfortunately haven't had any reply for more than a month now. Very poor customer service, and will not be buying again.

BUYER BEWARE!!!

Do not part with the balance of your money until you see the stock.
Part 1.
I was charged for the balance of the order (total price $4900), I was told it had all arrived, 1 month late.
It turned out it had t arrived and wouldn’t be in for another 4 months)
To avoid them holding my money I changes the order to stock that was on the floor.
Part 2.
I then didn’t trust them delivering it to my house, so I collected it from the store so
I could check it first . I was then charged
$180 to collect it from the store.
Part 3 .
The next week the store has CLOSING DOWN signage up on all window's. It turns out they are not cling down, just relocating. But they don’t know where or when ??? Absolute lies
Not sure how I was going to get my side board in February if the store is closing down.?

IF YOU HAVE PAID FOR FURNITURE HERE I WOULD GET IN AS QUICK AS POSSIBLE .

Appalling after sales service. Bought a Bondi 1800 live edge dining table that arrived three months after it was promised. After only three months in my new home, I noticed significant builder's putty in areas of the table. I took detailed photos however Rice Furniture refused to replace or refund. They consider this a used item despite it not being as per display table. So much for a 12 month warranty. You buy a live edge table to display it - not cover it up! Lodged a complaint with Office of Fair Trading but again unwilling to replace or refund. Will never shop at Rice Furniture ever again.

I honestly can’t believe this kind of customer service in Australia
I called the store regarding sofa order issue that couldn’t help me so I filled out the “contact us” section in the website twice & still haven’t heard back anything
They just don’t care
It’s written on the website that they get back to you after 24 hours but it’s been a week for me

Don't go here. They sell you products they don't actually have and promise delivery that they have no ability to keep. I bought furniture from them and was promised delivery in two weeks. Two months later I am still waiting and they refuse point blank to provide a refund. Go somewhere else.
