Hakataya Ramen

To celebrate the anniversary of Hakataya Ramen, members could drop in for a free bowl of delicious hot ramen on Sunday the 5th of Nov. I enjoyed my bowl with a side of kaedama (extra noodle) and ordered an additional ajitama. The line at the CBD Queen St Store was surprisingly short when I arrived at 1pm but grew long when I left. Seating was well spaced and overall this location did not feel overcrowded despite being located underground.

Must of come here ten times and it never disappoints! Prefer the vibe to other local spots plus you can have a beer with your ramen 👌

You would think a hot and spicy ramen would not be the wisest choice for a hot and humid Sunday, but Hakataya Ramen ensures that it is the best choice for lunch, no matter the weather.

The atmosphere of this underground restaurant was just amazing.

Today I visited this store at queen street. Ordered the same food as my last visit sunny bank outlet.. taste is just as good in comparison. Next time I will order something else for a change.
Only thing is, it does not offer senior discount.

Very good ramen and gyoza. The ramen goes about $14-$18 a bowl. Good lunch time sized serving (not too big or small). Gyoza was really nice with a smokey flavour and crispy bottoms. The service was really quick and the staff friendly. Added bonus, they offer FREE ramen on your birthday. Worth a visit.

One of the bigger Hakataya restaurants around. Single door entry off the Queen St Mall.... easy to miss. Look for the company banner alerting people to the restaurant downstairs. All the action is downstairs down 16 steps. Service is quick and professional. Food is cooked perfectly. Very tasty. Plenty of seats and tables to cater for the solo diner, right up to big groups.

Acceptable noodle dungeon. If you sit at the counter, don't tap on the glass. They'll stare at you....

I have been to Hakataya ramen 3 times now and honestly think it’s the best ramen I’ve ever had. They keep me coming back for their simple menu that has spicy and non-spicy options, gyoza and lychee tea. Amazing staff and just such a cool basement vibe place to eat! ❤

Amazing ramen shop in CBD. They have great food and ambience with good service and staff. The jazz music and ramen combined give a completely different ramen experience. The only limitations in this place are the choices, as the menu is very small, and the location, which is hard to find. Apart from that, it is a great ramen place worth visiting. Great ramen with rich and tasty broth. There is also a selection of beers and soft serve ice cream. Blink and you'll miss it as this place is tucked away downstairs near the centre of Queen St Mall.

Always get good ramen from here. My favourite is miso spicy ramen! They have free condiments and pickled ginger. They do free extra noodles with ramen also. They also do cheap ice cream. Keep up the good work!

A Japanese restaurant that is run by Japanese. You can be pretty confident about the taste of the food here. The broth is really very good, noodles are made at the perfect texture, you can have free extra serving of noodles upon request. Serving of meat is quite tiny, unless you order extra meat. Ordering of food is simple, you just have to order your food before finding your table. Side dishes like gyoza are highly recommended as well.

Gyoza and spicy ramen, yum! Wash it down with a fully imported Koshihikari Niigata beer. Now we're talking!! Yum!

This place is amazing, great customer service, ramen is 100% on point.

So I wasn't going to have Raman, wifey ordered and I was just going to have dumplings, but I tried hers and had to order one for myself!
