Called at 1:00pm today and Bern was able to get the inspection done in the afternoon. He provided a very comprehensive report with images and an overall summary. He also provided some excellent general advice about maintaining the car. Well worth the money, and a really nice guy. Will definitely use again. 👍

Bernie is 'Simply the Best' in my opinion and first hand experience. After reviewing different vehicle inspection businesses I came across Check-it by chance.
After reviewing their services, affordable, competitive pricing and customer reviews I decided they would be the service to use.
I contacted Bernie on the same day after I had inspected and test driven a used car at a car dealership to inquire when he would be available to inspect the car. Bernie advised generally on the same day.
After negotiating with the dealership that I could have the vehicle inspected that same day, to their surprise and chagrin they agreed to have the vehicle available to be inspected.
Given it was very short notice Bernie was available and would be there in 1.5hrs.
The process to pay and provide the details of the vehicle, dealership and sales rep to Bernie was very easy to follow and was completed within 5 minutes.
Bernie's report was received via email within minutes after the inspection had been completed.
The report Bernie provided was very thorough, easy to read and understand (especially for someone like me who has limited knowledge about vehicles mechanically).
Any vehicle faults found were highlighted with pictures and markings to show what they were.
A summary of faults and repair needs were included at the conclusion of the report along with a percentage out of 100% what the vehicle condition is currently assessed to be at and the vehicle quality percentage would increase as any repairs are completed.
Also noted was a summary of what the vehicle quality conditions were in comparison to a similar make, model, age and origin manufactured vehicle.
The vehicle I had inspected rated 99% and was is in a pristine condition.
Any questions I had about the report I called Bernie and Bernie was only happy to answer them.
Based on Bernie's expertise and thorough report I was able to make a final decision about the car. The minor non mechanical faults that were found were completed by the dealership as part of the negotiation deal made bringing the vehicle up to a 100% rating. I am happy to report that I am now the new owner of the vehicle. Thank you Bernie at Check-It. I highly recommend Check-It and will use Check-It again with any future vehicle inspections.

We got our dealer-supplied Ford Mondeo inspected by Bernie just as a precaution. Bernie's report was super-helpful in confirming that the car's in great condition.

Excellent experience with Bern for my pre-purchase inspection. He fitted a booking in with very short notice, which was very much appreciated. Bern is experienced, professional, friendly and very thorough. He took the time to point out and explain defects and potential ways of rectifying them (from minor to major) and provided a very thorough report that gave me confidence in the vehicle. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Super happy with our experience and glad we chose Bern for our pre-purchase inspection. He was able to fit us in on very short notice, and even came earlier than expected. The inspection was very thorough and he took the time to walk me around the vehicle to show me all the defects (even very minor ones). Just wanted to say thank you again for a very thorough inspection. Even the dealer was impressed at how thorough it was. Organised same day and very timely response. From the report, we haggled for two new front tyres and bought the car! Money well spent.

I cannot speak more highly of the service we were provided by Bern at Check-it inspections. We were purchasing a 2nd-hand vehicle from a licensed motor dealership in Brisbane, and the car looked the real deal. We had the cooling-off period on the Monday to decide. I had tried 2 mechanics I trusted and RACQ, but none were available due to the Christmas/New Year period. I found Bern's number on their website and rang first thing in the morning to see if they could inspect the vehicle that day. Initially, Bern said he was unable to fit us in, but he rang back 10 minutes later to say he was able to do the inspection in 45 minutes time. The caryard agreed to the inspection and 2 hours later I had a comprehensive report emailed to me. I met Bern at the caryard on completion, and he said the vehicle was 'perfect' or near enough to being so. This set my mind at rest as the vehicle was my daughter's first major purchase and wanted a safe and mechanically sound car for her. Thank you Bern for your response to my desperation call. You were our hero that day. PS - my daughter loves the vehicle.

The best decision i made was to call Bernie to check out the mercedes that i was looking to buy after being given the wrong car by the caryard on his first visit he quickly told me he could return the next day first thing to inspect the right car. Bernie informed me the car was in bad condition mechankicly and body wise saving me from buying a money pit.

Had Bern have a look at a car i was interested in, He got there one day after calling, and gave me an extremely detailed breakdown of anything and everything about the car, showed me all the intricate body damage + let me know about any potential mechanical faults, he also gave me a call after to go through it with me and dicsuss the car.
