Angela from Property Buyers helped us navigate through what would have otherwise been a very complicated process of home buying. Absolutely worth every cent! It took me over a year to accept that I couldn’t buy a property in another state - particularly in a fast-moving market - without the help of a buying agent, because I couldn’t get to the viewings and kept missing out on good properties. After speaking to 4 other buying agent companies first and finding their ‘sales tactics’ very overwhelming - way too much pressure to sign immediate contracts and pay large upfront fees - I decided to go with Property Buyer who was more professional and seemed to take a long term view.

We have just bought a house with Angela's and thus Propertybuyer Buyers Agents. I doubt if we could have got the house without her engagement. It was a real team effort. She sourced properties that might be suitable and we sourced properties also. For three to four weeks she promptly rang agents, visited homes, clarified what we wanted. From our online searches, some properties looked great but were less than desirable (needed lots of work) as Angela inspected them on our behalf. It was tough to even know what was still for sale but she would find out promptly. She videoed and took photos of the good things about the homes and also the challenges. Several videos were "live". We got connected to solicitors, building and pest inspectors and she helped us sort things out. This was our sixth home and so we weren't novices but wow, the help was so much needed and appreciated. We had to work at being available for her on the spot videos and listen to the feedback and be ready to make decisions. I was surprised at the wisdom and also good cautions and encouragements in the search. It wasn't about getting us a house quickly. It was getting one we could live in with our budget. It was about not regretting a purchase. Wonderfully after the building and pest inspection a smooth negotiation occurred to fix the issues. It was nice having someone else do this on our behalf. We were buyers from interstate but it would have been wise for us to engage her even if we were local. Again, i don't know if we would have been able to purchase a house without her input and work and definitely her fee was small compared to what time, money and chaos we would have had without her.
