Bishamon Japanese Restaurant

First time here after walking past it many times and hearing about this place that has been around forever! Monday night birthday dinner with the family on a warm summer night giving it a go at the all you can eat Wagyu Shabu Shabu. 90 mins later and we walked out completely stuffed and satisfied. Beef was excellent quality and you just need to keep going at it until the timer rings! Also BYO wine at $3.5 per person corkage is fabulous. Will definitely return after a period of vegetarianism😅

Great atmosphere, tasty beef!

Bishamon is always great place to go for dinner.
I am lucky cuz I live so close to Bishamon so I go quite often.
Their tempura is the best in Brisbane. But make sure if head chef works on that day. I tried when head chef was off, it was alright but was not as good as usual. Every single food is enjoyable.

Great service great food. My son and I both enjoyed the Sukiyaki dinner. Especially with the “Tabehoudai” menu you can eat Wagyu beef as much as you like. The whole experience was awesome. We can’t wait to go back there again. Maybe we can try their bento box for lunch next time.

Great Japanese restaurant near the hotel I stayed at. Lots of options, even take away specials. I ordered tempura prawn sushi and teriyaki fish bento box. Portion was great for the price.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ awesome very tasty food 🍱 remember to always make a reservation to avoid being disappointed 😢 we had over ordered not knowing the generous portions being served here and had to get a doggy bag, which is a good thing👍

We had the sukiyaki hot pot buffet. The meat was so fresh and tender, excellent quality and quantity. If you like sesame, you'll love the Black sesame ice cream (see the picture). Full of flavor. We had a great time dining in there. Thank you to the owner and the family.

Had the thinly diced beef udon noodle soup, could not fault it. The flavour of the broth was incredibly rich yet clean and beef had a lovely aromatic flavour. I will be back! Ordered using their QR code system and friendly service. Thanks!

Wonderful place, super fresh!!!!! We order yellowtail king fish sashimi, octopus marine, yaki udon and green tea ice cream with saka.

I came here for a birthday lunch with colleagues, as it is a great local spot in Spring Hill. The food is amazing, being an authentic Japanese, the food is so fresh and tasty. The size of the dishes are incredibly large and come with a small soup and rice, with some dishes having two sushi pieces on the side also - which make for a substantial meal. The staff were incredibly accommodating and the food came very quickly.

Bishamon is my favourite Japanese restaurant in Brisbane, I use to eat here weekly when I worked in the area, unfortunately I can only get it now on the odd occasion but the food is still top notch, you are always left feeling full and satisfied. Their curry is probably the best Japanese curry I’ve had in Brisbane too. Highly recommend trying this place.

Love the hotpot, beautiful cut of meat and you can have them topped up. Beautiful sashimi platter and sushi.

Went to Bishamon for a work dinner and we really enjoyed the food. Sukiyaki all you can eat was very yummy, and my friends got Shabu Shabu and it was fantastic too. You can also BYO wine, which is always a plus (:

Delicious, authentic Japanese Restaurant in the Heart of Brisbane. Always high quality, truely authentic Japanese food. Caters well for seafood, meat eaters, and vegetarian alike. You would be hard pressed to find food as good as this visiting Japan. The owner is always lovely and accommodating.
