Kabachi-Ya

So far this is the best Japanese value for money restaurant in QLD. The ramen, especially the karage spicy ramen was so delicious, so as the dried cold ramen with minced pork! The prices for most dishes are very reasonable, good portion and really yummy authentic Japanese food.

The deep fried salmon skins, fried rice, gyozas, karage don, Salmon aburi don etc,......all are worth trying!

Craving for ramen on a Thursday night and searching for a nearby place to eat. We decided to go to this restaurant and this place is a good one. We ordered Kabachi Red and Katsu Curry — they were simple yet amazing.

Nice ramen shop! Taste very good too. They have a good selection of ramen. Price is reasonable and comes with decent portion. Staffs are friendly. Service is relatively quick. They can be very busy during peak hours.

My favourite Japanese restaurant on the Gold Coast!! The aburi salmon bowl is always so fresh! Plus the mini curry for just $5!!
The price is so reasonable compared to other places but their food never lacks in quality!

Friendly staff. The resturant looks very tidy and clean but the table is sticky and dusty. Hopefully it can be improved next time:)

Takoyaki: crispy but inside of the takiyaki was frozen.

We was worried the ramen might be too salty cuz one comment said too salty, but it was just right for us.

Will come back but hopefully the table could be more clean and the TKYK could be hot.

I’m not a local here but decided to drive by and have a quick dinner at this place. Correct choice. Myself being a Japanese living in Australia for over 20yrs I am very much satisfied with the quality, quantity and customer service of this place!! Some may think it’s a bit of unusual setting to be a restaurant - this place is very well designed to be traditional Japanese “teishokuya”. Love it. Highly recommended.

cheap, cheap, cheap. Ramen flavor is average, but you won't ask more for such cheap price. Soft boiled egg is overcooked.

Possibly the best food you'll ever eat. I lived in Japan for 5 years, and the quality of food, service and atmosphere here more than compares. On top of this, the food is very affordable for the quality and quantity.
The owners work in the store, and the staff will even teach you the Japanese word for your order! The only problem is that you'll like it too much, and keep going back. I know we do!!

If your looking for a cheap delicious japanese meal? This is the place. Food here is very nice but there's not much selection. But services to customers is great.

Highly recommended pit-stop after a long day shopping at Harbour Town! We had a daily special (changes everyday, for us it was beef & tendon rice) which was delicious and amazing value, and the moyashi noodle (bean sprouts noodles, soy base) with plenty of “toromi” thickness and flavour. I recommend adding some “menma” bamboo shoots to it. Will come again!

Summer is coming !! I really love this cold ramen with sesame sauce ! it tastes amazing, refreshing and delicious ~

Had my teriyaki chicken rice bowl which tasted so good at a right price while my pregnant wife had her ramen and both our cravings were satisfied. Who says you need a ticket to Japan to have an authentic one? will try other ones on their menu the next time the wife craves for Japanese food again.

I come here all the time. The food is consistently wonderful and with such reasonable prices this restaurant is hard to resist. The Karaage chicken here is one of my favourites on the Gold Coast. The staff are always friendly and you can even help yourself to as much kewpie mayo and teriyaki sauce as you like when you dine in which is honestly the cherry on top!

Been coming here for years regularly and the service is always amazing, the food is 100000/10 and amazing value for money!!
