Ashfields of Fruit

Pretty good range of almost everything, but best thing is it's all really fresh and luscious (compared to the supermarkets in Ashfield definitely). I have always found the staff to be friendly and helpful enough - reading other reviews seems some haven't. Same with prices - not the cheapest but definitely reasonable and when you combine that with the freshness and quality, it's really good value for money.

Always had great deals and a great range of different vegetables, fruits, legumes, grains, sauces, nuts, cheeses, pickles, herbs, smallgoods, preserves etc. And always great service from the Filipino girls and Ann (whom I think might be the owner's daughter or something). Very disappointed to see today that they're closing down for good. This place along the butchery, the ALDI and Christopher's cake shop were the only reasons to keep bothering with this mall.
If the mall managers don't get a decent replacement soon: I think I'll be driving over to Leichhardt or Five Dock to get my fresh produce.

So much good fresh veg and fruit. I was able to get pasta here a good choice. The wise people running this store made sure there was enough ginger and garlic for everyone by putting those items at the register.

Loved this place. There was never an issue. Products were top notch so fresh. I went up there today to find that they are closed down with a new shop in the process of taken its place. Very sad to see such a great shop gone because of this gov and their unlawful acts. I hope the shop owner and staff are all ok and find work elsewhere
