Dr.Rafid Alzubaidy

I can’t highly recommend Dr Alzubaidy and his team enough! My wife was told she had a breast lump found on routine screening, thankfully it was benign but the journey was still scary. From the first phone call to the rooms, the appointments, the bedside manner and explanation was perfection. Special thank you to Teegan who went above and beyond to look after us during this difficult time.

Dr Alzubaidy is professional & caring also takes time to explain any questions you may have. I would highly recommend his surgery skills I was extremely happy with the outcome. Tegan is his secretary is helpful & always approachable.

Dr ALZUBAIDY is a warm, patient specialist. He didn't patronise me when I asked lots of questions and he took the time to answer a whole lot of things. Nothing was too much. With his diet recommendation, I lost 4 kgs in 6 days prior to gall bladder surgery to help shrink my liver.

On the day, prior to surgery, he met with me and I felt confident and yes, excited about my surgery. He visited me bright and early the morning after surgery. He really cared about my well-being. I felt very safe in his hands and secure knowing he was my surgeon. I walked out of hospital the day after surgery feeling confident and well, with a simple list of post surgery care instructions.

Teagan, his administrator is gold. She's friendly and helpful especially if you're forgetful like me. She's the first contact at reception and she has great people skills.

Gold Coast Private Hospital staff were kind and very helpful. From the man who greets people at the door and helps with directions, the lovely bubbly nurse in pre-op waiting room, to the presurgery nurse who checks the forms (he was awesome). The surgery nurses were friendly. Love the warm blankets and the bed heater. The anaesthetist was salty and made me laugh. He said I wouldn't remember him and he was right. 😂 I didn't have any anxiety because everyone was so nice.

The Ward 9 nurses were fantastic and looked after me really well. They responded to my requests with warmth and speediness. If you want to chat, they will and if you want privacy, they respect that too. No request was too big or small. The food and coffee was excellent. Overall my experience was 💯 % positive.

Thank you DR ALZUBAIDY and all the team at Gold Coast Private Hospital. You are miracle makers. I have the utmost respect for you all because of the way you treated me.

Highly Recommended! I received the most amazing care from Dr Alzubaidy. Being told you have breast cancer rocks your world, but I am so glad my GP recommended him to me. Four days after my diagnosis, at my first appointment with Dr Alzubaidy, he spent over an hour with me explaining the surgery I would need and the pros & cons of lumpectomy vs masectomy - of course, my husband and I had 101 questions, but he took the time to answer them all in a simple, easy to understand fashion. I knew I was in good hands with him as my surgeon & not only did he see me in post-op but also visited me bright & early the next day (as did his Practice Manager Teegan) - my surgery outcome was perfect and I will be forever grateful to him for his professionalism, care and support throughout the whole process.

Love Rafid. This man is honest, highly skilled and tells you straight of your options. I had breast cancer with nipple saving and reconstruction. With Teegan also as the Clinic Manager, you will be assured of receiving the highest, quality treatment, care and service available.

Dr Alzubaidy has been absolutely incredible! He took his time explaining the procedure, he is very patient and has a great bedside manner. Highly recomend him.

I had melanoma in my leg. I needed it removed with a graft placed. Dr Alzubaidy saved my life. Great surgical work and with an eye for detail on the graft placement. Highly recommend this wonderful surgeon.

Dr Alzubaidy operated on me recently to remove 40 year old silicon implants that were leaking and replaced them with new slightly bigger tear shaped silicon implants. I was really worried about this op but have been extremely happy with the outcome. Look fantastic, feel like real breasts should feel (as far as I can remember) and I could not be more pleased. Fantastic job and very professional doctor and staff. Thank you so much. A very talented man.
