Extraction Artisan Coffee

We popped into this place for breakfast when visiting Brisbane. The atmosphere was so relaxed and the cafe is so unique.
The food was amazing, and the coffee was one of the best I've had in a long time.
We spoke to the owner, who was so friendly and informative. Will definitely go there again next time we travel to Brisbane.

Absolutely love this place! We love their artisan fruit toast (which do run out quick because they bake it fresh everyday!) so try to come in earlier. Their coffees are also amazing. The signature drink (which is tonic water and cold brew) is BOMB.

Our visit to Extraction Artisan Coffee was truly exceptional! The quirky aesthetics of the place with its vintage props immediately caught our eye, and we were thrilled to discover that their coffee, without a doubt, is one of the best in town, prepared with the charm of artisan pressed coffee.

The menu itself is a treasure trove of unique flavours and the presentation of their food. We particularly enjoyed their spring lamb dish being a standout. The combination of licorice, mint, and dark chocolate infusion gel into the meat was not only visually captivating but also irresistibly delicious. We simply had to try it, and it did not disappoint.

Furthermore, what truly sets this place apart is their impeccable service. Our server went above and beyond to make us feel welcome with her warm smile and accommodating service. Without a doubt, I give this place my highest recommendation. Thank you for creating such a memorable experience!

Having worked at this cafe, I can say without hesitation that it's the best place for food and coffee in town. Every dish is made with the freshest ingredients and bursting with delicious flavors. But what really makes this cafe special is the incredible service. The staff always go the extra mile to make sure every customer feels welcome and happy. The owners treat you like family, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. If you want amazing food, top-notch service, and a family-like experience, you won't find a better spot than this café. It's simply outstanding in every way!

Always lovely to hold meetings in this cafe- going to the back area on the balcony is a plus when surrounded by lush plants. Forgot to take pic of meal but it was scrumptious.

EXTRA ACTION AT EXTRACTION! Food is always delicious and menu changes regularly giving variety. Staff are friendly, attentive and excellent at their craft, and of course the coffee shows unique flavours through the on-site roasting. Keep up the great work guys!

It is a lovely place, starting from humble beginnings and growing into something unique and wonderful in my local community. It is 'the' go-to place with my visitors to Brisbane for lunch/brunch or just plain coffee - not that there is anything plain about the quality coffee. I never gripe about the cost; it's my self-indulgence amongst our cost-of-living hassles - give up my coffee at Extractions - NEVER!

We came for breakfast on the last day before they closed for Christmas. There was presents on the table for customers and they had a special Christmas menu (pictured). Best atmosphere, seriously well done to the staff.

Just moved to the area and have found my new favourite cafe. Amazing customer service, everyone was so nice! The atmosphere was great and the food was super fresh and yummy. The coffee was perfection 😍 you can tell they care about it.

This place is amazing! The food is exquisite, really fresh and delicious. I got the avocado on toast, wow! It's not your average dish. I highly recommend it! I got the halloumi as an extra, omg!! It was soft, delicious and not too salty, really good quality! Now, the coffee: these people really know what they're doing. They had 3 options of single origin, I HAD to have 2 x double shot espresso coffees just to try them. (I would have had 3, but I just can't deal with that much coffee). I was there with my 7yo son, who had a treat from the cabinet and a babycino with marshmallows. We will definitely be back!!

Eggs weren't cooked they way I asked for but in all fairness, they were replaced.
Eggs benedict sauce is squeezed out of a bottle, so not hot or even warm.
Nice to see a menu that tries different flavours and is a refreshing change from the usual breakfast/lunch menu.

Having a hospitality background I can appreciate excellent customer service or be frustrated with poor service and coffee....... But guess what ? Extraction I will highly recommend for coffee that is nectar of the gods, an interesting menu with food made and presented with care and omg tastes so good !! The customer service is second to none ! Professional with excellent knowledge of the menu and very friendly with a passion for their role. Nearly forgot something that is impressive in this day and age.....FULL TABLE SERVICE !!! For such a large area they somehow make it fun and funky but welcoming at the same time. Personally with a high sensitivity to noise I found it an extremely pleasant atmosphere. This is where I will take my interstate visitors and enjoy my coffee there.

Today 14 July 2023, third time, I like Extraction because of the service and creative food, today I had raisin bread and garlic avocado with pumpkin caviar, man that was very tasty, I also want to mention the butter is quite unique and very tasty when it comes to packaged butter, my friend had a double espresso, we will be back. Only one suggestion….Matcha Latte is quite popular these days (without sugar) perhaps this could be considered. First time here, bit tricky to find, perhaps a few words how to find the place might help customers. Service super friendly, good presentation of food, warehouse style cafe, cool urban furniture and nice artwork. We had coffee and green tea. Toast and date loaf. All excellent.will be back.
