Contacted SS Auto Electrics to get a second opinion on a lighting issue. Shane was very knowledgeable and helpful. Ordered and received the part within hours, while assuring me that if it wasn't fit for purpose (though he was certain it would be), he could send it back at no charge. He then stayed back to do a quick install of the part and sure enough, it worked and saved us around $200 from the quote I got elsewhere. Thank you, Shane - happy to recommend SS Auto Electrics!

I reckon these guys run perhaps the best car air conditioning repair business in the area, I’ll elaborate:
As the week before Easter was only four working days they were incredibly busy but still found the time to look at what the problem was in my son’s D-Max.
They thoroughly checked everything and worked out that the evaporator was leaking. A common problem with this model but a time consuming fix as the dashboard had to be removed.
My son had sold the car but needed the A/C fixed before ownership could be transferred or he would lose the sale.
Both Steve and Sean realised the urgency and organised for one of their technicians to work some overtime and repair it.
The result was a perfect A/C system, a happy son and an even happier buyer who had set his heart on the vehicle. A perfect result!
I can’t vouch for the Auto Electrics side of the business, but I feel they will have the same quality of workmanship, knowledge and dedication they have for fixing air conditioning systems.

Since January 2023, I’ve utilized a range of services. The customer service has been exceptional, marked by excellent communication, transparency in operations, and fair pricing. They consistently provided explanations about faulty parts and the necessity for replacement.

Can not recommend a better place then S.S. Auto. Steve, Helen and there team are amazing. Whether it’s for my trucks or cars they are honest, punctual with a quick turn over time. . Will always find the issue promptly in no time and have your vehicle back to you. Thank you very much guys.

Steve and Shane are deadset pros .. they installed a complex digital dash for my 1968 Mustang without any issues. I would highly recommend their services for all types of car electrical installs from standard cars to old classics and exotics as they have done it all !

Steve was able to diagnose and replace a faulty alternator within a day at a very reasonable price. I was kept informed of the status throughout the day. They even picked up the part from the supplier in order to have my car ready before the close of business! Best service ever. Highly recommended.

Steve is very professional in dealing with my air-conditioning problem. Fixed the problem straight away. Price is reasonable, cheaper than others. Highly recommended.

I NEVER do reviews unless it’s bad but here I am making an exception.
Being a new “walk in” and despite being super busy Steve dropped everything to fix my central locking kit.
He didn’t do the initial install (unfortunately I now know I was ripped off before ) fixed my issue quickly and professional and his charge was very reasonable. He even tidied up the mess from the previous installer.
Will be my go to Auto Electrician from now on

I could not be happier nor more impressed with the work performed. It was an incredibly high standard. The technicians were friendly and showed common sense and experience, problem solving an unusual job that I presented to them!

Very honest people. I took my car there because the last mechanics screwed up and blew a fuse and didn't know for to fix it. The guy here helped me quickly found the problem and replaced the fuse. Amazingly, he only wanted to charge me 5 dollars?! For the price of the fuse. I gave him 25 dollars anyway but it made me sure that these guys are honest people. Highly recommend.

Took my wife's 68 Mustang to Steve to relocate battery to boot. Steve and Shane are very good at what they do and they did a an awesome job on the Mustang. I would recommend them to anyone who needs attention to detail like Steve offers.

Excellent work repairing my Mazda 6 with an elusive coil pack problem. Two visits to my mechanic and two visits to Mazda dealer with lots of dollars wasted to no avail. Steve discovered the fault and repaired it economically. We have used them previously and would highly recommend Steve and Shane.

My 2009 Ford Mondoe's break lights had electrical issues which forced me to change the lights every month. I had taken to Ford and couple of other service centers and they could not fix or find the problem. These guys fixed it for a reasonable price and I never had the problem for the last 1+ year. Highly recommend them for any auto electrical work.
