Stopped in here for a cheese tasting and coffees on a very busy school holiday Friday afternoon.
Plenty of parking outside and pretty scenery, cow sculptures, shaded tables outside and a few tables inside. The cheese tastings are free and the lady serving us was helpful and friendly even though the store was very busy.
We had a couple of milkshakes, delicious if a little sweet, and generous serves. They even had Malt! Love my Malted milkshakes!
The icecream, double cone was truly enormous, enough for 2 people!.
After browsing the small store we finished with coffee, well made, also delicious.
Prices are very reasonable, especially for a tourist focused business in a gourmet food trail area.

A delightful cafe/ store definitely worth visiting and conveniently located. With a pretty entrance and a large parking lot, indoor and outdoor seating and a wonderful array of produce and gifts to browse. Wine, local honey, sauces, cheese, milk, cream, ice cream and more. The GF chocolate brownie served with ice cream was the most delicious I have had and the hot chocolate was amazing and actually hot! (Unlike other places that serve it luke warm). Highly recommend.

Dropped in on a Monday morning, was quiet and the staff were very lovely and welcoming. We had some cheese which was delicious, as well as milkshakes and latte which were both also amazing.

Best milk and ice cream, the 5 cheese board is really good even though I’m not really a cheese guy but did I mention the milk and ice cream? You’ve got to try it. They’ve got the creamiest milk I’ve tasted ever. Dog friendly place too.

Bassine is the best milk, I have friends and grandchildren who are lactose intolerant and are able to drink it. It's has beautiful cream on the top of the bottle.
They also have the best ice cream and milkshakes and of course, lots of cheeses, so yummy.
Call in for lunch or coffee and cake. You won't be disappointed.

Lovely stop on the way to Phillip Island. We have been twice now, just the other day we enjoyed some scones with delicious jam and cream along with a baked camembert cheese. Tea and coffee both lovely too and great customer service. Will definitely visit again.

Absolutely fantastic. Wish we had time to sit down for Devonshire tea but we grabbed scones and hot chocolates takeaway. Delicious and staff were very friendly. Great selection of cheeses.

The cheese and dairy items are truly exceptional. What an exciting and homely little place. I'm very happy that we stopped to have a look and then stayed for lunch. The service was warm and friendly, there's even a resident dog to greet you as you drive in 😆🥰 I bought some cheese and milk to take home, so fresh, gorgeous and local.

Had very nice scones with tasty cream and jam. Entrance is a bit easy to miss. You can sit and watch the cows with seemingly retired shepherding dogs outside.

A great way to relax for the afternoon! Tucked away from the main road surrounded by paddocks. Lots of out door eating space with the loveliest of staff. This friendly atmosphere and serene surroundings serve the yummiest of cheeses. We ordered the 5 cheese platter and we’re not disappointed. I couldn’t tell you my favourite as they were all delicious. Platter came with a homemade relish, quince paste, nuts and seeds as well as crackers. We also treated ourselves to a #glutenfree brownie that was served with fresh cream.

The cheese tasting session was lovely, with an arrangement of various delicious handmade cheese types. The staff member present was very helpful with her thorough explanation of the cheeses and manufacturing process!

Local cheese place making a huge range of top-quality euro-style cheeses. The washed rind, truffle brie and The Loch (equivalent to a Brillat-Savarin) are well worth travelling for.

Bassine Cheeses has a beautiful array of gifts, including a great scent choice of beautiful car diffusers and a superb choice of Pure Essential Oil and Cosmetic-Grade Fragrant Rollers. Their chocolate brownies are to die for, they make great coffee, the staff are always friendly and their cheese platters are totally scrumptious. Check them out sooner than later, you will not be disappointed. 👍😊

If you are travelling to Phillip Island or the Cape as we were doing you just have to stop here. This is a good break point to stretch your legs, breathe in the fresh air and be welcomed by the super friendly farm dogs. There is so much on offer, cheese tastings, baked goods and fresh milk and cream. The milk is so creamy and delicious and the baked goods particularly the cheesecakes are hand on heart the best I have ever tasted. Here you will receive good old fashioned sincere customer service. If you are lucky you might even meet the owner Kaye (as we fortunately did) who is just lovely. I cannot recommend Bassine Specialty Cheeses enough.

From the beginning where we were welcomed by Tanya, to midway where we tasted exquisite cheeses and dips, to the ending of a delicious lunch this place was above all expectations. A must visit say 4 ladies from Sydney NSW
