Chateau Bass

Tracey and Dave were so beautiful and accommodating. As I was travelling with someone who has celiac's disease, Tracey and Dave went above and beyond to provide a whole loaf of gluten free bread plus multiple breakfast options. Even the toaster was cleaned to use! Would 100% recommend to anyone in the area. The room was clean and beds very comfortable. Very private.

We stayed with our two teenage kids, using two of the rooms. Perfect set up for us all. Very well presented. Breakfast was lovely. I loved the sheets and the beds were very comfortable. After a busy weekend on the island, it was a lovely quiet spot to relax. Thanks so much :)

Tracey was lovely and very helpful. It’s only a short drive to Phillip Island attractions and the stay was lovely and relaxing. It gives you a country vibe and it’s a very cute place. I’d definitely stay here again. Thank you again

Our family stayed overnight from the 20/11/2021 to 21/11/2021. We booked the night before and arrived with the most fantastic hosts. Tracey and Dave are so welcoming, giving us a tour of the two rooms we booked and the common lounge. With the motel recently renovated, the beds(which could be heated) bathroom was fantastic and they also offered a lot of complimentary items for the Breakfast in Bed. It was also cool that they had a range of DVDs and games for the guests. I would thoroughly recommend anyone to book there, the prices are reasonable for the intimate and fantastic experience we had even if it’s just one night.

Excellent place to enjoy and relax. Clean and comfortable rooms with superb living area.
We were 3 couples together and have really enjoyed the trip.

My partner and I stayed at chateau bass over new years and it was great. So clean, friendly and close to amazing beaches (if you travel by car). The point of why I'm writing this review is that the bed sheets smelled so amazing, I'm wondering what washing detergent you guys use, I want my sheets at home to smell like that!

Beautiful rooms, well priced, lovely owners. Our room had a lovely small deck with garden area, and the continental breakfast was more than ample!

Quiet location with a pub/restaurant only a minutes walk away. A short drive to phillip island and kilcunda.

Beautiful, well sized rooms. Perfect to come back to after a crazy busy day on the island. The owners are absolutely lovely and accommodating. Will definitely be back to stay again

Really happy with this place which is located just outside Phillip Island. Conveniently placed location. Tracey and Dave were very hospitable and made us feel comfortable.

Clean, comfortable and best of all nice and quiet. Owner was lovely and went out of her way to show us in and around. Good location for seeing sights and getting away from it all at the end of a long day.

Private, very comfortable bed, lovely hosts and superb spa bath. Reasonably priced. We'll definitely be back.

My friend & I found the Chateau absolutely delightful - very clean - very comfortable & very handy to all the tourist areas & extremely friendly & accommodating hosts.

A wonderful place to stay off the busy and noisy Philip Island. If I travel to the Island again I will stay there for sure.
