Tenby Point Old Jetty

There are not many jetty ruins like this left around the two bays. This one is a really awesome one to photograph. It's a short walk down the beach to reach this jetty ruin but is definitely worth it. Make sure you go at the correct ride height. To low and you will have a whole lot of mud around the jetty. Also be careful when walking around the muddy parts of the beach as it's pretty well known that you can sink and get stuck in that type of sand/mud.
Another great spot to get the camera out is the mangrove tree's that sit in the shallow parts of the water.

Stunning spot for some long exposure sunrise/sunset photography. Google map directions are a bit misleading, take the left on the Bayview avenue and go till the end. At the intersection of Bayview av and Marine Road there are some parking spots. The famous mangrove tree is on the right of the path and the old jetty ruins are on the extreme left. Both the spots are pretty good, just be careful with quicksand. Also, I spotted some Jellyfishes ashore, so be vigilant.

A really peace spot to visit, with beautiful mangroves, the old jetty is a beauty to photography, and lots of birdlife. Highly recommend good waterproof boots. Some spots your feet really sink into the same if your not careful.

Amazing place, lots of beautiful and colourful rocks, some nice treea as well, great place for sunset photography

This is usually a sheltered place as it fringes Westernport Bay. There are 2 much loved items for photography - the old Tenby Jetty and ol' woody, a mangrove tree. The tides move in and out very rapidly due to the very slow declining sand bed. The shore is fairly rocky. There are no public amenities.
