Amazing atmosphere here! I come here regularly and the staff are always super friendly and make you feel like family with some great chats and more then a couple laughs. The food is always amazing, can’t wait to see what new specials they bring out! Cannot recommend this pub enough, stop in if you get a chance. You won’t regret it!!!

Awesome menu and surroundings. Enjoyed our seafood platter and ice cold drinks. Found the staff to be super friendly and helpful. Huge outdoor beer garden had a very relaxed comfortable feel. Will definitely be back

It's great to bring friends and family from Brisbane too. I also dragged one of my co-workers out and he loved it as well.

A town with a population of 968 people (2016 Aus gov census) where the Mother-in-law has just moved to. Lets go to the pub for lunch. OK, I dont think I am a food snob, but generally, country pub food shouldnt be granted food status. Also my wife has very strict dietary requirements.
Can I just say this place was more than a pleasant surprise. I sent the wife in to make sure they could deal with her requirements. She came and said yes they can. Ok, lets do it.
Their menu was very simple, it was a 3 course fixed menu, but each course had 3 options. And they were adaptable because everything is created fresh. Also one of the Chefs is passionate about options for people with dietary requirements. Thank you Jen for being so passionate.
All three of us went with the watermelon, feta and.prawn salad. Insane quality.
The mains, my wife went with the slow cooked lamb shoulder adapted to requirements, the Mother-in-law went with the menued slow cooked shoulder, and yours truly went with the salmon.
we have eaten all around the world in New York, London, thru Europe. The food was equal to anything I have eaten, anywhere in the world.
The salmon was exquisite, and there were no complaints about the slow cooked shoulder.
For desserts the wife had the vovo pavlova, diary free, the Mother-in-law had the menued vovo pav, and I had the Tim Tam cheesecake.
This was more than a pleasurable experience. It was gastronomy Heaven.
The staff were brilliant, the food would put many City establishments to shame. The new owners have only been there 6 months, give it another 6 months and you will be booking 2 weeks in advance. It wont be a secret for to long when its only 70 minutes away from Brisbane

Went there on a Tuesday evening for my birthday. Enjoyable, pleasant atmosphere, I was surprised at how many people were there so early in the week. We'll certainly be back.

A practical menu done to perfection! Everything about this hotel is inviting. Great place for a relaxed and quality dinner that’s reasonably priced. We will be back again.

Great steak dinner. Shame that there were so many flies in the region, but I love that they provided mozzie repellent for those of us dining outside.

After many student 21st parties and finally after 5 years, the cohort met there prior to their graduation. Well managed pub, fabulous staff, providing great country pub meals and hospitality.

Popped in for beers and garlic bread, the weather was great, their outdoor setting is inviting, well looked after. Great spot to grab a bite and enjoy the setting.
