Little hidden gem hubby found on Facebook & what a surprise this was, can honestly say that it was the best food we've had in awhile, totally unexpected but delighted, already planning our next visit as we need to try more on the menu

Housed within the Forest Hill Post Office, this delightful cafe/restaurant is a surprising addition to this small country town.

With a menu that wouldn’t be out of place at a Southbank cafe. You can choose to eat either inside in the aircon or out in the alfresco bar with large fans and misters.

Freshly made meals, with scrumptious looking desserts and barista made coffee also available. Staff were friendly and the chef accommodated my dietary needs, which was much appreciated. Will definitely be back.

A really lovely cafe located in Forest Hill. Love that it has eclectic gifts and is the local post office as well. Food was delicious and the service was fantastic. They also make their own cakes. I can vouch for the scones, soft and fluffy served with either strawberry or rosella jam. Easy to make a reservation and air-conditioned inside.

What a way to start the day, great coffee and amazing carrot cake. Excellent, freindly service. Dog friendly. Huge selection of wares for sale. Great little gallery next door displaying local artists.

I will give 5 ⭐ coz I 3njoyed my food. The grilled flat fish was good w/ a salad on it tasty dressing and the cheesecake I takeaway was yum 😍

Our 4 meals were absolutely delicious.
Last minute booking on Father's day, no problem and the service was exemplary.
Highly recommend this busy little restaurant.

2nd time here and it was a delicious brekky, a bit different which I loved. Well done to the chef on the very interesting menu. Nice waiting staff also 10/10 ❤

Exceptional quality meals and cakes available, absolutely delectable all at very reasonable prices👌 Well worth a drive to the country just for the food, but with the added benefit of having an amazingly eclectic range of knick knaks and souveniers too

Cafe 4342 with its amazing food and fantastic staff is always a pleasure. The chef's vision ending on a delightfully plated dish starts with his creative expertise in pairing foods. Last night I had the prawn and scallop risotto, delighted that all of the prawn was used knowing prawn heads enhance the flavour. Another great night with you all and fabulous food

We just stopped for coffee but couldnt pass up the carrot/ macadamia cake and it didn't disappoint. Definitely the best cake I've had in a long time. Trying to come up with a reason to get back soon.

The best Caesar salad, ever. Scallop entrée is also excellent.

We went to breakfast on Sunday with our softball breaky group and food, service and atmosphere were amazing. Can highly recommend.

We had brunch there today, lovely staff, so friendly and welcoming, service was great, food was amazing and beautifully presented.
Will definitely go back.

As far as I’m aware, the best country cafe between Toowoomba and Brisbane. Discovered as a great, cozy place to meet up with my parents midway.

Coffee is fantastic. The food menu is delicious, creative but not too wild. A good balancing point for all types of fussy eaters.

Staff are always welcoming and the gift shop/post office is worth a look.

5 stars - food, service, quality. Not the cheapest one around but really good sizes of meals and fantastic taste. Highly recommended!

Best veggie burger I have eaten ever bar none. 5 Stars. Mediterranean salad was so fresh and flavours were superb. Best meals we've had in years, very well enjoyed.

We heard this place was good, so we drove out there from Brisbane for dinner last night and it didn’t disappoint. The New York strip steak was amazing and so was the baked chicken. Even the cheese toasty out daughter ate was awesome. Great work cafe 4342 we will be back.

Simply delightful. Went for breakfast last week and it was immediately clear that the owners really care about what they're doing and genuinely take pride in their work. Real food made fresh! Great coffee too. I wish all restaurants scored as well as these guys.
