Cooroona Alpine Lodge

Great place to stay for a family ski trip. Room was warm and comfortable, good breakfasts (but don’t be late!). Service with pick up and drop off made moving in and out a breeze.
Also found stuff we left behind, called me and posted it back :)

Lachie and his crew are sensational hosts and it’s a great lodge. Very welcoming and the food is excellent and hearty perfect after a day on the slopes. The renovated room are particularly lovely.

Perfect for a family holiday. Lachie, Amy, Nicola, Chef Justine and the team are so lovely and welcoming. The rooms are clean and comfortable and have enough space for two teenage kids & parents to not be on top of each other.
The facilities are great and the meals are fabulous. Continental breakfast plus a different hot option each day included in the price plus a great selection of dinner options that were all really tasty.
Thank you for making this a really easy and enjoyable holiday. We thoroughly recommend staying here.

We had the most amazing family holiday here. Rooms were super clean and comfy, staff were so friendly and accommodating. Food was out standing! We couldn’t wait to see what was on for breakfast each morning and the dinner menu was the best we had on the mountain, the homemade pasta was to die for and the chicken parmigiana was the best we have ever had. Well done Cooroona Alpine Lodge for maintaining such a high standard but also keeping a family friendly atmosphere . We look forward to coming again. 👏👏🙌🙌❤❤

From the moment we stepped into Cooroona Alpine Lodge Restaurant and Bar , we felt the warm and welcoming atmosphere that truly sets it apart. The staff was fantastic - their attentiveness and genuine care stood out during our week at Falls Creek.

Our visit was made even more special as we were celebrating our daughter's birthday. The lodge went out of their way to create an amazing birthday cake for our daughter that not only looked spectacular but also tasted sensational. This thoughtful gesture added a personal touch which typically cannot be found at other establishments.

The experience exceeded our expectations in every way. From attentive staff, impeccable services, delicious Mexican food to the little details such as the special birthday cake, we were taken aback by their dedication and commitment to providing the best.

To anyone considering a stay at Falls Creek, do not hesitate to book at Cooroona Alpine Lodge restaurant and Bar This special place provides an experience that is far beyond. It is a place where memories are made, and we can't wait to go back.

We had the the most enjoyable stay at Cooroona Alpine Lodge. Lachie and Amy are great hosts and, along with the staff made us feel very welcome. Highly recommend Cooroona as a choice to stay when visiting Falls Creek.

My friends and I had a fantastic time here, I couldn't recommend this place enough! Clean rooms with everything you need and the hosts are lovely. The pricing is so reasonable for both the rooms and the food/drinks. The dinners are delicious and very generous portions!
The included cooked breakfast was very yummy and a great start to the day before skiing. Lachie will pick you up for free instead of having to spend $43 return (per person) on the ATS provided by Falls Creek which is a great bonus.
Can't wait to return!

Loved, loved out stay. The friendly crew, really make it like a home away from home. The great service was so refreshing.
We loved the food and included breakfasts.
Something future guests might not know is that Cooroona has the cheapest food and beverages that we have discovered in Falls. This Can make a big difference to your budget. We had dinner in house both nights. Apparently they do roast dinner on weekends but we sadly missed out

We had an amazing two night stay at Coroona Lodge. Lachie the owner picked us up from the accommodation transfers area with all our luggage to take us to the lodge. All the staff were incredibly warm and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was delicious. Very cozy and friendly vibes. Cannot recommend it enough, we will absolutely be back.

Lachie, Amy and the team provide a fantastic service and the food is sensational. We ate at the restaurant every night and spent late afternoons by the fire as the bar prices were reasonable and the staff very welcoming. The accomodation was comfortable, clean and within walking distance to everything. The pick up and drop off service instead of the ATS is great! Would definitely recommend for families or a group of friends.

Lachie and his team we're absolutely fantastic and made us feel very welcome. From the moment they picked us up from the accommodation transfer service to their great hospitality it truely made for a great holiday. The staff were fantastic and food was at reasonable prices. Haven't stayed here yet but the food is excellent. Even at the end of a long season the chefs are clearly passionate about their work when others may be inclined to start phoning it in

All the staff are really friendly and the rooms are comfortable and clean. Accommodation transfer is a massive perk and the dinners are fantastic. Would recommend coming for dinner even if you aren't staying here. Will definitely be coming back to stay!

Two couples stayed for three nights, all staff were amazing and super helpful (especially Grace). The pick up from the accomodation transfer is a huge huge plus, breakfasts were delicious and dinners great value for money. Easy access to multiple lifts. Would highly recommend staying here!

Thank you Cooroona for accommodating my friends and I on our first overnight snow trip. Central location, clean facilities and rooms, friendly doggo, lovely breakfast, cosy lounging area and great service. The ATS pick up and drop off was a great perk that I now couldn't imagine going without, and the lodge really had all we needed to have a fantastic, stress-free trip to Falls Creek. What more could you ask for? Thanks for having us!

Great place. Rooms are very spacious, entire accommodation is very clean, breakfast has various assortments of food and Laclan is an awesome host. He even shuttled us for free to the top of Falls Creek on our first morning.

We spent 2 nights January 2021 at Cooroona Lodge. Lauchi and Amy where perfect hosts , nothing was to much trouble, the room was clean and comfortable and the included breakfast was awesome. Have no problems recommending this lodge.

Staff were amazing and super friendly. View outside the window was beautiful, rooms warm clean and comfy. Food was sensational! Every meal was incredible.

We have stayed 3 times at the cooroona lodge in the past 2 years at falls creek and could not be happier with our time there. Lachie and Amy go above and beyond to make your stay wonderful.
Stayed in the superior room was great to have our own bathroom which is unusual at ski lodges.
The breakfasts were excellent with continental and cooked breakfast available. We cancelled our dinner booking and ate at the lodge 3 nights in a row. Excellent quality food, generous proportions and very well priced. Great to have a bar and lounge area. We loved sitting next to the fire.
Not having to take the oversnow was a real plus.
Great value for money. Can’t wait to see you again this year.
