Mercure Canberra Belconnen

Staffs are really friendly and I really liked the EV charging options available in their parking. The rooms are really nice and spacious also the attached labor club is a good place to hangout and eat. The furniture and interior is fairly new and the view facing the lake is really nice. So over all a great hotel.

Great hotel. Stayed here for work. Room was huge and well laid out. Very clean. Loved the little bar / coffee/tea set up. Handy location being a 1 min walk to a Woolworths metro.

This hotel is our choice of stay in Canberra.
We have had nothing but good, friendly service each time we have stayed. The rooms are above standard for the Mecure brand and being in close proximity to the Labour Club is a plus if you would like something to eat however you wouldn’t know it was there if you don’t want or need that experience. The buffet breakfast is quality food and all round I highly recommend this hotel. Special mention to Natasha for her kind gesture and Md for his help on our last visit.

This was by far the best place I have stayed at in Canberra! Incredible service, beautiful rooms, clean, and a faultless experience.
I had my flight cancelled and was in distress as it was late and I had no where to stay, and the wonderful girl who I spoke to and checked in with couldn’t not have been better assisting me and getting me settled in without any additional worries! Cannot recommend this place more! Thank you for an amazing experience 😊

Good location and decent quality offering in line with what you'd expect from the Mercure brand. Short walk to Westfields, bus interchange and nearby lake so there is plenty of amenity in the area. Paid parking is available in the multi storey car park for $12 a night which isn't cheapest but is ok. Staff were exceptionally friendly. Did have an issue with a lift being out of service but didn't impact things too badly. Will happily stay here again on future visits.

Rooms have a nice decor and you can see they spent some time on the details. Lighting, artwork, furniture, flooring. All really nice! Good breakfast, very good service. Easy parking, good location. Would definitely come back and recommend

I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff at reception were so friendly and always smiling. The location was perfect, walking distance to a range of different eating places. I was pleasantly surprised by the room, it was styled beautifully and I thought the gym was great. I will definitely stay here again :)

This is a very nice hotel and I will continue to call this place home when I am away on business.
There were some maintenance things that were needed for the room I was staying in; the reception team were very helpful in fixing things.

Being situated next to the Canberra Labor Club was handy as that provided access to affordable meals (specials) for lunch or dinner.

The location is excellent, woolworths and westfield are very close by.

Couldn't recommend this place more. Called them up to book a room and they were all too happy to get us sorted. And when there was a mistake, they helped to fix it. Don't book through the travel sites. Book direct. Saved close to $100 on the room by doing this. The rooms are top class. All the staff from front desk to housekeeping were helpful and friendly. The labour club next door is an easy place to get some dinner, but the surrounds offer greats selection also. Will be staying here again.

Booked online easy process, if you are an Accor Member you can get a discount booking direct, plus Qnatas Frequent flyer points. Paid extra for parking, but you don't need to.. Booked wheelchair accessible room... Fully accessible front entrance, though the check-in desk does not have a low point for people in wheelchairs,the room was directly across from lifts. The door to my room is extra wide, so all wheelchairs would fit easily through it, Bed is king-size and super comfortable, it also zips apart and becomes 2 beds. THE BATHROOM is huge and fully accessible I'll let the photos speak for themselves. My only complaint is the door to the room is heavy and close to quickly. I dont understand why they do this with acessible rooms it makes it so hard to manage when you are travelling alone in a chair. The bedside lamp had a wireless phone charger, there is free wifi in the room, Woolworths, BWS and a bunch of cafes in rolling distance as well as The Labor Club which has meals and pokies and is connected to the hotel.

Great place for stay, rooms are very spacious, kindly designed, with almost all required basic facilities, we also opted for breakfast buffet which was a great add on definitely, the hotel location is also very central, major attractions are 15-30 mins away by drive, there is a Woolworths just 2 mins walking distance and Westfield as well as a lot of eating out restaurant options! Overall it's good value for the price (although first I thought it's a bit pricey but now can vouch that it's totally worth it!!)

Stayed overnight here and had no complaints. Overnight parking is available for $12/night. There's a Woolies a very short walk away. The AIS is just a 5 minute drive away. Spacious room and comfortable bedding. The breakfast was modest but not terrible.

Generous room size. Parking available. If you like pokies the Labor club is in the same building. Watched raiders match and only stayed overnight. All round nice weekend.

Good clean hotel with very secure parking. Stayed 3 nights in the room with separate lounge and bath..the room was great as we had bubs with us. It even had a microwave which we were not expecting.. we had wanted to get the apartment but it was all booked out. The eatery joined to the hotel is owner by a lovely Italian man and has great lamb shanks. The club was not quite suitable for us for meals so we were lucky to find the eatery. An added bonus was the laundry facility, though small, was good to have to do some washing although we had to approach reception as it someone left their laundry there for hours and we could not use the dryer and we didn't feel right to take it out. Would stay again. Helpful staff too.

Everything about my stay was excellent. Room was lovely and quite, bed comfortable, shower great. Service was also excellent certainly will stay again.

Stayed for one night on my birthday, whilst on the way to Melbourne. A wonderful warm welcome and a welcome acknowledgement of my birthday by Pratima.
The rooms are clean and spacious. Lovely views over the river. Parking for $12 / night right under the hotel. We'll be back for sure. Thank you.

Loved it, we asked for a covid safe environment and they were able to provide us with a floor with minimal guests. The breakfast was great! Especially the pancakes the chef made. Really the reviews I was expecting the worse, if you've accepted that the breakfast area is inside the club then it's fine. Loved the fact that we get to do our laundry for free too! Great location and price if you've got your own car. Thanks for the stag
