Good value about $22 per person, staff friendly, service is fast place is clean and was not so busy at the time we went.

Some of the lamb orders were mostly cauliflower so probably wouldn't get this again.

Special fried, rice and fish fried rice were excellent.

Plenty of seating for large and smaller groups, a place to give a go!

Great food, the lemon chicken, garlic prawns, and sweet and sour pork were standout dishes.

We had a delicious meal at the Joy Food Chinese Restaurant tonight. I highly recommend the chilli salt duck wings and squid tentacles! The food was fresh and delicious, and the staff were very accommodating and friendly. The decor is plain but the quality of the food makes up for that! Thanks for a great night.

Tried this place a number of times and have always had great food, friendly service and fair pricing. Really is a little hidden gem in joondalup, highly recommend

Went there Saturday lunchtime. The best Chinese. Special fried rice chicken satay and Chili garlic battered chicken where all amazing. Lovley 2 girls serving us too. We will definitely be back 👌👌

Fantastic food, fantastic service. Loved the Hong Kong noodles, tasty as, fab for the kids and can't go past the Japanese sizzling tofu (I'm a vego). A really nice group of humans working in this place. All good vibes. Friendly service with great food recommendations. We were a table of 12, kids and adults, so we ordered a wide variety of dishes, all handled easily and efficiently. Couldn't fault it. Thanks Joy Food!

Roast BBQ meats were high standard. Great taste and affordable prices. Have ordered a couple of times since a change of ownership, and theyre doing great things since. Satisfaction 100%

We went there recently, and got the duck and pancakes. It was really really nice, and the duck had lots of meat and no gristle. Their honey chicken was the best I ever had, and their salt and pepper squid was cooked perfectly, not rubbery at all. I definitely want to go back! ☺👍

*Update* The below review was in relation to Joondalup BBQ but the owners have changed. Tried the new place and food was alright. Portions were smaller and wasn't as tasty as before.

Consistent and very tasty Chinese cuisine. Been dinning here for years and never disappointed.

Stopped in to buy roast duck and BBQ pork, was some of the most authentic I've had in a long time. Great knowing a local restaurant does awesome food. Will be back to try their menu. Had a nostalgic family owned restaurant vibe that really gives a great atmosphere, we'll dine in next time!!

Food is delicious and a reasonable price. Quite authentic Chinese food, pork and duck hanging in the front so don't be shocked. But if you like good chinese food, this restaurant is hard to beat. Service is excellent, lovely owners.

A hidden gem. We have dined in and also done take away. Fantastic service and so allergy aware. Very accommodating and the staff have gone above and beyond. Had a birthday dinner with a larger group and the service was amazing.

I ordered catering for 50 people and everyone praised how amazing the food are! Everyone was so full but there are still food left over! So happy with the catering portions! Service is spot on, timely and food were freshly cooked 😋

The two roast combo of duck and roast pork is always fabulous with a great jus. The service is always friendly and you must try the homemade chilli sauce. We keep coming back and never disappointed.

Came here on multiple occasions. Very friendly staff and amazing tasting food.

They have a lunch menu if you're dining alone or a normal menu with dishes to share. One of the best roasted pork I've tasted in Joondalup. Menu has wide selection of proteins and tastes whether it be sweet, sour, spicy, or a combination, etc.

It will not break the bank but the portions could be larger.
Would definitely recommend for solo dining, small groups and large groups alike!
