Novotel Brisbane South Bank

Whilst our stay was only for one night, it was 5 stars all the way. All the Reception staff we interacted with were incredibly friendly and super efficient.
Our room was well appointed, clean and comfortable. The layout was cleverly designed, allowing for enough privacy and space for a couple to move about with ease.
We decided rather than going out for dinner that we would eat in the Spice Central Kitchen & Bar. The resturant and bar staff were very attentive, happy to chat and answer any questions. Our meals were well presented, delivered quickly and quite delicious.

Thank you for a great stay we hope to visit for more than one night again in the future.

We spent a single night at this hotel, finding it exceptionally convenient and offering a flawless experience from check-in to check-out. The staff exhibited exceptional professionalism, demonstrating friendliness and helpfulness throughout our stay. The breakfast, clearly prepared to order, was both piping hot and delicious. Our accommodations were modern, spacious, impeccably clean, and featured a comfortable bed. Without reservation, I wholeheartedly recommend considering this establishment for your lodging needs.

We have stayed at this hotel a number of times. Every time the amenities are excellent, the breakfasts are delicious and the staff are friendly. It is only a short walk to South Bank, which is very convenient.

On this occasion, we needed to stay an extra night and the staff were very accommodating in ensuring we could stay in the same room.

We really enjoyed our stay. Good location and nice service. The only thing that could be improved is house keeping. Our shower gel was empty when we checked in. They also didn’t refill things like tissues. Towels that were wet were not replaced. Besides that the hotel was clean and had comfortable bedding in a good location.

We stayed for 4 nights, and the experience was faultless. Great location just 5 mins walk from all the activities in South Bank. Felt safe at night. Modern hotel in excellent condition, very clean, great service from all staff. Room was very well-equipped, modern and clean. Breakfast was very good and good value. Reception and bar / restaurant area very well-presented. Good pool and well-equipped gym.
Only two tiny criticisms - the outdoor pool was a little too cold to really use (I understand it can be heated), and the shower in our room wasn't very powerful. But these are tiny compared to the overall excellent experience.

A couple of nights on a business trip so unfortunately didn't get to see the surrounding area very much. But the restaurant for dinner and breakfast was excellent. The room was extremely comfortable and the staff were helpful. The hotel had readily accessible parking, a good sized gym and an outdoor pool

We enjoyed our stay with the Novotel, it was a great location, walking distance to the waterfront and restaurants. The rooms were well set out and very comfortable. The staff were really welcoming and helpful and the breakfast was one of the best we've had anywhere. Highly recommend this hotel for families.

Everything about this hotel is just perfect. Staff are amazing, location is great and food and amenities are fantastic. This place has everything with high quality toiletries to a fabulous buffet for breakfast. The team are all lovely and make your stay memorable. Nothing is too much trouble, not that u need to ask for anything as its all there for you.

Great hotel, bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on. Only thing I wouldn’t highly rate is the buffet breakfast. We were the first to get there and because they pre prepped the food most of it was cold, the pancakes were rock hard and cold. Everything else was 5 star

Loved our stay,easy check in,. Clean downstairs restaurant & bar.. Bar fridge&room service readily available.

Our stay was convenient to attend a concert at the Brisbane Convention Centre a 5min stroll away. Certainly, I will return to this hotel.

We stayed a night as a family and had the loveliest stay. The reception staff are always outstanding and friendly, the room were very clean and comfortable and the breakfast was great. We couldn't fault a thing!

We had a lovely stay. The staff were just amazing. They made our anniversary special. But aside from that they were all so friendly, patient and informative and really made our stay nice. Fantastic location for Southbank and there was a lovely safe, lit up walk through to make the walk even quicker.

We had a very comfortable stay, even though the hotel was busy for the Easter weekend. Staff was friendly and the room was clean. Location is close to the convention centre, many eateries and the South Bank Park/Street Beach, but still far away from too much street noise. We really enjoyed our stay and appreciated the Novotel projector light down the alleyway to direct us back to the hotel at night. The Lindt Chocolate bunny, sent to our room for Easter was a lovely touch too. Thanks.

Service was excellent - from checkin, and the restaurant. All staff were very friendly and accommodating.

The quality of the room was fantastic, clean space with quality beds and linens. Value for money - we will be back again soon!

The staff were absolutely lovely to our children. They got iced chocolates on check in, popcorn and then later in the day they had free face painting. It really is the little touches that make you feel valued. Great location about 5 mins walk to Southbank. For a hotel room we found them quite spacious and they were super clean. Highly recommend!!

Very conveniently placed and hard to significantly fault. Buffet breakfast was great with a decent amount of variety. Not at all underwhelming really for $39. Room was spacious and presented pretty nicely, with two desk options which was a nice surprise. Had a comfortable enough sleep for someone who is a light sleeper. My only minor complaint would be the air conditioning was a little too noisy.

I stayed at Novotel while I attended a conference nearby. The room was well appointed, and I was so grateful to the receptionist who allowed me to access a room early. The beds were comfortable and the room was very well appointed. Breakfast looked amazing. On site car parking was very convenient.

We stayed for 9 days at the Novotel Southbank and the accommodation and service went above and beyond. From the minute I called to explain we had a little boy in a wheelchair and what could they do to help the team was amazing.
The standard amenities offered to families was fantastic and the hotel really ensured the hotel was both 5 star visually with the best family offerings as well.
I would highly recommend families giving this hotel a chance . The kids butler was fantastic. My boys could call and order children centred room service. The pool was beautiful and the kids again could call the butler and get free icecream and pool toys delivered asap.
And not to mention the biggest draw card for my little boy was during check in they had freshly popped popcorn.

So impressed with everything from check-in to check-out. During the 'silly season' (Christmas) when so many other people in service industries have been rude and unhelpful it was so refreshing to be greeted with such a warm and friendly face. Our check-in experience was smooth and quick, comp upgrade (thanks ALL!) and lovely welcome gifts, through to friendly housekeeping and hospitality staff we encountered along the way. You made our stay so pleasant. Highly recommended to inter/intrastate visitors or those looking for a stay-cation! Thank you!

Upon arrival we were greeted with friendly staff. They answered any questions we had. The staff at the restaurant/bar were amazing as well. Good sized rooms with nice views.
