MacArthur Central Shopping Centre

Very convenient, and I like the aircon blowing onto the bus stop while I wait for the bus! 🤣 but for real great shops in there and a Big W.

Ok so I indulged a bit here on the weekend. Amazing new dress shoes and a great meal with my girlfriends. We will be back to shop more. Excellent day out.

Inside is a Woolworths Supermarket a Big W store & a JB HiFi! A drycleaner & alteration service! A shoe repairs & key cutting service! 310 seat food court with Wi-Fi coverage! You can download the MacArthur App! On Edward St are High End retail outlets featuring both national and international brands! The finest jewellery at Hardy Brothers to fashion icons such as Tag Heuer & Hugo Boss! Plus high tech Apple on the corner of Queen St & Edward St! Once known as the AMP Building constructed between 1931 & 1934! Formerly used as the head by the Allied Forces South West Pacific during WW2! Commander-in-chief then General Douglas MacArthur occupied the boardroom on the 8th floor from July 1942 to November 1944! A distinguished interwar commercial building with a fine traditional classical facade appropriate for a conservative financial institution in an advanced structural system!

Great location for lunchtime shopping. Has a bit of everything.

I reckon this was a trip to a chemist. The elder (most knowledgeable and experienced) lady was brilliant looking for a CPAP hose. Rang other stores, looked in old stock. A most impressive effort.

Great shopping centre for our local weekend grocery day.

I'm here all the time, really convenient if you live in or near the city. The food court is best during lunch, the downstairs bathroom is often closed in the afternoon but there's one upstairs - I seem to walk to the wrong one every time I'm there. Close to the Spring Hill loop, too.

Great mix of stores including Woolies, pharmacy, food outlets, Big W... a one stop shopping centre. Bright, very clean, felt safe with visible security staff.

Renee at Apple Store was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and the couple minor things she didn't know she found out. She took the time to explain everything thoroughly to help me narrow down my choice to best fit my needs and budget. Very helpful to compare products to ensure I'd get the one I'd be happy with. I'm not sure if asking for a particular assistant is even possible at Apple, but give it a try! Make an appointment before shopping.

Very high standards of cleanliness throughout the whole centre. One of the few centres where you actually see the cleaners regularly clean throughout.

As usual, Apple did a great job. We have a few Apple products. They identified the problem with the Mac Pro. All fixed under AppleCare. So it's a good after sales purchase. Staff were super efficient and very professional. After the screen glitch was fixed the super bright technician resolved the source issue. Got to love good service. ❤
