This organisation is the best, they are helping me in a lot of my necessities and Im very grateful for such kindness and support they are providing. They also have clinic services which is great, a bit slow for test results and medical referrals wished it could be faster but other than that they provide good support for foreigner people who are struggling refugees escaping death from their own countries. Im totally staying with them for as long as I can.

Thank you for supporting me financially (during 2 months with $60 every week), for giving me nice clothes and helping me with my Opal card. I am also very grateful for your help in re newing my Medicare card and I am very happy to be in the list for getting driving licence classes thanks to you. This website and centre gave me so much to think about in relation to the needs of others living through trauma and dislocation. It's inspirational and heartbreaking that we live in a world that doesn't see support, care and empathy/rational compassion (for those who think about the limits and boundaries of empathy) as normal and necessary for human social, emotional, and intellectual development.

I had a really good and excellent experience at Newton Asylum seekers centre, although it was my first time going there, I was surprised and happy with the good treatment of all the kind employees there. In addition, they were very persistent and guided me in dealing with my problems. Also, they had happy and great plans for us in addition to office work. I am grateful to all the kind staff of Asylum in Newton, as well as Ms. Estelle, who always followed up on my problems.

Staffs are lovely and helpful. Very hard-working people. They help people of every colour, race and culture. A place where all people are seen as one and are treated equally. May the Lord bless this centre.
