The Front Room Newtown

I’ve been to The Front Room twice now and it’s been consistently good. The staff is super friendly and attentive. I also absolutely love the coffee here.

There’s tons of seating and the place is nicely decorated. This is definitely a great little spot.

Had a great halloumi stack for breakfast, the produce was really fresh and beautiful glazed. Highly recommend, would come again.

We had lunch here and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. The service was also very good with a good selection on the menu and quite reasonably priced as well. If you are looking for somewhere to eat in Newtown, the Front Room won't disappoint.

in our current world full of price gouging, dodgy business practices and tactics to make a quick buck, this place is a breath of fresh air that is both delicious and affordable, one of the very very few places left where you can eat out without breaking the bank with the food being of such high quality too.

i will never pass up the opportunity to visit the front room when im in town, its just that good !

Been going here for the last few years and love it. Food is always amazing, staff are really friendly (think it’s a husband and wife who own it, both really nice). I also order from Uber Eats quite often and they are always really fast and the food is even packaged really well, as strange as that might sound!! Also, their coffee is amazing! I usually get an Iced Almond Latte and it’s incredible. Also definitely recommend the Brekkie Wrap. I’d say this is one of the best places for breakfast in the inner-west.

Lovely morning breakfast here. Looks tiny from the front, but has several tables inside. Food and coffee, both delicious. Waitress very well mannered and polite. Will come back again

Went today at 3pm, nice coffee, awesome big breakfest, the best I have had for a very long time. Very nice strawberry shake too.

Stopped past mid morning on Monday with the kids and I was pleasantly surprised. The food was great and the portion sizes were large for the price; especially for Sydney. The service was great and prompt. Probably designed more for adults than kids; no high chair, but they were very accommodating for us with two toddlers. Would definitely pop in again.

I’ve ordered breakfast from The Front Room through Uber Eats a few times and always relished their dishes. The pricing is quite reasonable, offering excellent quality and generous portion sizes that surpass those of other establishments at higher price points.

This place took me by surprise. Got an office call out of nowhere and had to sit here logged in and got a mocha.

Went yesterday and was amazed with the atmosphere. Excellent acai bowl and a tasty haloumi burger. Service was quick and staff were friendly. Definitely recommend if you're around Newtown and are in need of a good feed.

Mushroom dish and açai bowl had large portions with fresh ingredients. Great coffee and friendly staff. Incredibly reasonable prices.

I enjoyed the service and food quality. Another thing that I liked was the timing. My Eggs Benny came over quick compared to other cafes.

I haven’t tried their coffee.

A very diverse menu, with very quick service.
Had the bacon and egg roll and it was great!
Prices are also very reasonable!

I love this cafe for brunch and afternoon milk shakes. The flavour combinations are out of this world, and the food comes out quickly.

There are plenty of different places to sit for table service. There is one accessible toilet stall at the back.
