Beautiful garden, with ducks and fishes in the pond. It's a peaceful and fresh environment to read books, spend time with your loved ones and for picnic.

I can’t believe this place is real. So beautiful, so peaceful and very well maintained. I’ve never actually used the word ‘tranquil’ before but it’s the only word that describes this place. Nice picnic areas and benches and very clean restrooms. There are fish, ducks and we even saw a little turtle in the pond, and the trees have plaques explaining their origin and purpose.

This is a small garden, very well laid out and maintained, with large, significant trees and sweeping lawns. The path winds past a fountain, historic well, sundial, fernery, rotunda and lake with a bridge. For us, the large, noisey bat colony was particularly fascinating. There is a nature based play space for kids. Public toilets are also available in the fenced garden area. Well worth a visit.

Pretty manicured gardens just a short walk outside the town. Beautiful pond with fish. Best time Spring flowers! Bats are a bit scary haha. Small garden so doesn’t take long to look around but worth a look.

Beautiful space that’s perfect for a short stroll. For locals it would be a tranquil spot for a picnic, some reading in the shade or meditation. Appreciate the foresight and history of someone in 1866 creating this garden. Well done to those who maintain this for all to enjoy.

Warrnambool Botanical Gardens is a beautiful place to have a walk, picnic, enjoy the nature, or all of the above. It'd be great for families with kids.

Before heading there, I imagined it to be bigger than it was. You can walk in and around the paths in about 30 minutes. But if you stop to, "smell the roses", so to speak, you could enjoy a good few hours here for sure. Parking is aplenty nearby also.

Some of the trees here have some huge girths. Very Thanos-like! There is even a secret (maybe not so secret) rainforest area with ferns.

It was quite a surprise to see a few Seagulls acting like ducks in order to get food too!

Nice walk around the park, beautiful species of plants and lots of birds. Very well kept and maintained. It was a nice spot to stop and reflect after a long drive from Melbourne.
