Cannon Hill Lookout

A nice place to sit in your car and enjoy your lunch. Has some display military guns there as well as a few small monuments. It was very popular when we were there. The view is also the best in Warrnambool.

Look ober Pertobe lake and surfside beach. Beautiful view with picnic table.

Great spot to watch the sunset if you don't want to head out to thunder point. Also great for storm watching.

Cannon Hill Lookout at Warrnabool

Cannon Hill Lookout is located at the top of Cannon Hill or Mt Cannon. What a fantastic view of Lake Pertobe just directly ahead below.

Around the lorokout is lustrous green field. At the roundabout stands a monument wth an Angel on top of it. This monument is known as the Dirty Angel.

Not far from it is a cannon. Cannon Hill is so named for the artillery installed there during the mid-1800s due to preparations for possible Russian invasion.

Love the view from up here. It's a serene location to watch the sunset and also photo album friendly.

A very scenic view point looking out. There ate a few vintage cannons and field guns as well as cenotaph and war memorials of various wars.

Man this used to be the place to hang out at 20 years ago, ery fridee satdee sundee, parked up, reversed in, y'all know what I'm talking bout.

Supreme views of the break water and lake pertobe. The cannons up here are dope also, fun for the kids.

Good view point

Great lookout spot with a beautiful view across the lakes and over to the sea. A medium sized shelter with limited seating is also available.

Seagulls on a tin roof, Cannon on a hill. It’s honestly poetic and it speaks to my soul. I love this place.

I’m going to the carnival if anyones want to come and watch a feature film at Lake Pertobe

Very pretty spot. Nice to sit in your car for lunch and look out to sea or hop out if the weather is nice and enjoy the sunshine and check out the history of the Canon.
