The Straw House - Margaret River

Absolutely amazing place to stay! Loved everything, no faults!

We also lost a much loved baby blanket-we unknowingly wrapped it in the linen when we stripped the bed before leaving. We thought our toddler must have dropped it somewhere and didn't think to make contact as we had done a thorough check of the house before we left.

Within the week DJ made contact and posted it back to us.

Such remarkable service and a very happy toddler!

We stayed at the Straw House as a family to attend our sons wedding. The house was amazing and huge but so welcoming. Perfect for groups or a large family such as ours with older children and grand children. Felt so welcomed as we entered the front door to find a bottle Of wine and home made almond chocolate cake waiting for us on the dining room table.
This house has something for everyone, wether it’s finding a quiet spot away in one of the lounge rooms or sitting outside having a bbq with family and friends you won’t be disappointed. It caters for everyone. Carolyn was the most perfect hostess and we were able to messsge her at any time if we had any questions. We will definitely be coming back in the future.

This was our 2nd stay at the Straw House, this time with friends instead of family, and it was just as great as the first time. The flexibility given to guests for people staying for part of the trip and the comfort of the home made for a very laid back stay, including the check in and out process. We love the unique nature of the property and the country character of house is very warm and welcoming. We look forward to staying again in the future!

We had a great time, the hosts are very friendly and hospitable, lovely big self contained house, great place to go and relax and enjoy time getting back to nature.

One of the best places we've stayed at and the cake on arrival was a a superb touch YUM!! We love this place.

Great time, comfortable, nice location

Managers were super flexible and really kind and the house it's self was massive. Had an anamaizng time and will definitely be coming back again.
