Great and cheap food! Genuinely surprised that this restaurant manages to serve such good food for the price. I have seen multiple Japanese restaurants which are expensive and have much smaller servings.

Seating is limited but during lunch time it wasn't too busy and we found a table immediately.

Highly recommend!

Delicious food, many options to choose, i would suggest if it is possible including ramen on the menu. It is a Cosy and lovely place, nice customer service, particularly the beautiful lady with freckles and white skin, just with her smile she made my day on my birthday. I’ll be back just because of her and also the food 😊

I love this place, the sushi is always so fresh and delicious. This place offers such great value for money and complementary tea if you dine in. They also have gluten free and vegan menus 😊

This place has been so consistent with their food. Have been going to their original place in applecross more then 20 years ago and it still tastes the same.

If you want good value, tasty japanese without the frills then you need to come here. Their assortment of bento 🍱 boxes and bento types surely is amazing. Plus oh so tasty!! Ah Maz ing!!! Bang for your buck!!

Food was served promptly and hot! Portion was good and taste was delicious. The curry fish katsu was crispy on the outside and soft when you bit through. Curry was flavourful and resembled what we had in Japan. The Bento is very value for money and we left happy and fulfilled!

Doesn't disappoint, keeps us wanting to come back for more. Portion seems to have shrink a bit but the taste is still awesome! Ordered fish katsu curry, teriyaki chicken don and katsu chicken rice bowl. Come before 12pm to avoid the busy lunch crowd.

Really nice food. I'm especially a fan of the self-service hojicha tea, it's just a nice touch that they didn't need to do but it adds value to the dining experience.

Fantastic place to come and eat all your favourite Japanese dishes. A huge selection from teriyaki beef to tempura seafood.

You select your main then whatever bento box you prefer. My teriyaki salmon was delicious. The medium serve with rice was quite filling.

My friend ordered teryaki beef in the sushi box. The sushi was fresh and tasty. The beef tender and so tasty. They also have desserts available.

I might be bias since I've been going to this place for years, but these are just simply good, tasty Japanese food. Not perfect or anything, but for the amount of value that this place has provided me for many years with a great standard of service and food is good enough for 5 stars.

despite its humble exterior, it is spacious.Food is delicious especially seafood tempura. Bento option didn't come with rice. Bonus Free Japanese Tea. Accepts Entertainment Values

This place is a hidden gem! The rice box is amazing, I had tofu which was very fresh and the friendly service could adjust it to be vegan (without the egg and seasoning). Especially the sauce for the cabbage salad and tofu was standing out for me. It is a very good quality for the price (12.95$ for a large tofu rice box). The food came within 10 minutes and the complementary green tea is very nice.

Great Japanese cuisine. Large selection of meals. Staffs are friendly. Very crowded on the weekend.

The Karaage Chicken Chilli Don is awesome!

Have been twice in a week , love the chicken udon and the karaage rice bento. The pannacotta is amazing!

Food is good at a reasonable price. Service was good and food came fast.

The agedashi tofu deluxe box was delicious. I ordered rice as well for $1.50 and got a generous serve of nicely seasoned rice (you can select unseasoned if you prefer). The deluxe box is very generous. Four large pieces of tofu, sesame chicken salad, sushi, cabbage salad, pickled veges, pickled ginger etc. The tofu is not the very best I’ve had but it is quite good.

Wish I could add photos but there doesn’t seem to be an option for that.
