Wanera Wine Bar

We enjoyed lunch at the Wanera wine bar today. Food was fantastic and was well supported with an extensive wine list. Service was spot on and while the wine bar was relatively quiet (it was a Tuesday) the atmosphere was just right. We could have sat outside in the inviting garden but opted for one of the dining rooms instead and it was perfect.
I can highly recommend the Wanera wine bar at Angaston for lunch.

The restaurant was nice and cozy. We order two burger, a chicken and a beef burger and they were sumptious and good. Price is a little bit more but still really delicious burger.

Great spot in Angaston whether it be for a quick drink, feed or function.

Really nice outdoor seating -kid friendly.
Belly pork was the standout for us. Stunning dish.
The chicken laska was very tasty, with a lovely building heat to it.
Duck spring rolls and garlic bread was a good starter too.
The passionfruit mocktail was delicious too.

Absolutely delicious breakfast. We had Eggs bene with crispy bacon and bacon and eggs on toast. Everything from the service to the ambiance to the perfect crispy and tasty bacon was incredible 😊 Keep up the good work!

Wow! What a treat. Worth the 20 minute drive from the Novotel. Came early, like right when they opened, so service was fast. Food was next level. Couldn’t fault it. Had the salmon special and my partner the vermicelli salad. We also had entrees (cauliflower and the prawn and crab taco). 🙌🏽👌🏽
Ambience is fabulous also! Lovely finish to our day!

The Wanera Wine Bar would be my favourite eatery in the Barossa Valley. It is fantastic for breakfast, lunch, dinner or just a coffee. Great location, great food and service although we live a distance away we go there often. Indoor and outdoor dining options are available. All in historic Angaston where you can walk around and soak up the history, visit the Blacksmith all within easy walking distance of Wanera.

What a little gem! We loved the atmosphere and friendliness of the team. We very much enjoyed a delicious dinner (dips then steak) finely prepared with unique yet balanced flavours. Highly recommend.

We loved this place so much we ate there two nights in a row. The staff are wonderful - lovely and efficient - and the food is fantastic. The Fish of the Day of Salmon and Cajun prawns with sweet potato and corn salsa was a highlight, and be sure to save room for the lemon meringue tart. It’s a great price point too, and we felt like we got exceptional food and value for money. Highly recommend.

The food was absolutely high quality all four of us had different meals and everyone’s was superb.
Service was 1st class, friendly, flexible and informative.
Ambience was really good, dog friendly and excellent variety of options for seating, including a central fire pit.
Would highly recommend and we will make this a regular visit especially when we have interstate visitors.

What an amazing place, had dinner with the family there tonight and could not fault it, Bruno was amazing as our waiter, he absolutely made our night, and the food was to die for. Fantastic service and food, a little on the expensive side but worth every penny.
